This is what trips me out brehs.

Breh, you're saying Wilder "needs the fight", but what are we really saying here? Off course he needs the fight...he's thought of as the 2nd best HW today, and he wants to fight the #1 to prove who's really better:dwillhuh:

You're saying it as if he "just wants a payday"....but breh, who else can he fight that matters at HW?:dwillhuh:

He just dropped 3x & KOd Luis Ortiz who was hyped as arguably the most skilled HW today...who else is left BUT Joshua breh?:dwillhuh:

So now, its not just "a payday" that he's chasing...its also things like history, reputation, legend, pride that comes along with becoming Undisputed RING/WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO Heavyweight Champion Of The World, 41-0 (40 KOs), and the #1 fighter in the sport today, bc if he beats Joshua, nobody will draw like Wilder period:wow:

You act like he's trying to cash out:dwillhuh:

There's no other threats but Joshua...he could make multi millions fighting bums for the rest of his career until he's 50-0 (10 more fights vs Breazeale level opps is an easy $20 million) and retire with one of the longest HW reigns ever and with a perfect record......but he's not:wow:

He's willing to go high risk/high reward....and you all are clowning him for chasing a legacy defining fight vs Anthony Joshua as "just wanting a payday":dwillhuh:

There's no division he can move up or down too. It's really fight Joshua or fight C level opps forreal now:manny:

Honestly, I agree with you on all this. And to be clear, I'm not a stan for Joshua. I'm more anti Wilder cuz hes an embarrassment to the sweet science. But I do want undisputed champs in every division, including heavyweight. But I wholly disagree that if Wilder beats Joshua he'll draw more than him. That's literally NEVER gonna happen bro. And I personally feel PBC knows Wilders limitations and would like to cash him out vs Joshua so that they can get a huge payday. I know youll disagree and that's cool. Regardless we in agreement that this fight should happen next. All I'm saying is it wont happen next if Team Wilder isn't realistic about their financial demands. Cuz when you look at the #s, Wilder honestly should get a 10-15% split of everything. He jumped out the window asking for 50/50 and since Finkel has expressed more realistic demands. But unless clearer logic prevails with Team Wilder, we're all gonna have to suffer with alternative fights that don't mean anything. And my overall point is Joshua will ultimately be fine cuz hes gonna keep getting bigger paychecks and Wilder will not. Joshua has Miller, Fury, rematch w Whyte, hell maybe even PEDVetkin options and those fights will all pay him more than hes gotten previously. Wilder on the other hand will face more bums and wont be getting more than the 2.1 mil guarantee he got for Ortiz.

“I think Adrien should’ve won that fight,” Lipinets told BoxingScene.com through a translator. “He would’ve won if he just developed a plan to walk Mikey down, throw more punches and, as a naturally bigger guy, show his resolve in the ring. But Adrien, for some reason, just didn’t do anything.”

Broner’s biggest problem that night – and in other fights – was that the four-division champion from Cincinnati didn’t throw enough punches, particularly early in that 12-rounder.

“That was a very inactive Adrien Broner who wouldn’t get off,” Lipinets said. “And when he did get off, it showed."

Lipinets: Broner Should've Beaten Garcia, But Wasn't at His Best

I agree:obama:
:mjlol:

But he lost UD. Lipinets has no idea what he’s in for.

cosign all of this.

Do nikkas wanna play who can have the most financially rewarding career or who's the best fukking heavyweight out right now?:manny:

and lets be honest, its not like we're getting a bunch of Night of the Heavyweight type cards where you can actually build up opponents for Wilder. So random fringe contenders will get title shots in fights nobody really wanna see since no momentum ever gets built up with these inactive ass nikkas.
If not pulling in 15 mil or better every time out, u need to fight 3 or 4 times a year. Boxing moving too slow and every star can't be floyd. Joshua either need to fight wilder or at least fight 3 or 4 times a year. I'm sick of waiting and seeing no hopers get shots. I do think wilder is top dog at hw and top 10 in the world but he got flaws I wonder if aj can take advantage

Is Joseph Parker getting 5% split then? Because Parker is B-Side to Wilder.

I actually heard Parker is getting a 33% split.....so that means Wilder is getting much more than a 10-15% split:yeshrug:

There is one thing that I feel like Joshua can do to exploit a flaw in Wilder's style.

AJ doesn't really move his head like that, but he keeps a high guard on defense and he does bend his knees to duck punches every now and then when he's facing opponents his size. He has a naturally composed fighting stance.

He'll need to keep that in mind once he gets hurt and Wilder starts getting wild and flailing bombs to finish him. Most dudes try to back up and create distance, but fail since Wilder already has a crazy reach so dudes end up getting caught at the end of his punches. The guys who don't back up, make the mistake of bending forward like Ortiz, but they end up getting caught with rabbit punches and they can't see the punches coming.

Joshua needs to duck/crouch (not bend over forward) while maintaining his high guard and stay close to Wilder. He'll make Wilder miss with those wild hooks, but it'll also make Wilder throw the uppercut. Joshua needs to parry/deflect the uppercut and counter that with an overhand right. Wilder is open for that punch. These heavyweights need to train to react to Wilder during this moment, because it always happens and nobody knows how to get through it.
