Finally caught up with the season...I feel like there are only two plots that really need tying up - what happens to Lalo and (obviously, biggest question) what happens to Kim
Everything else is pretty much there set up and needing no explanations of how things get there to the BB start.

Saul and Kim have such crazy bond I think she's taking some kind of a bullet, literately or figuratively
There's no way in span of like 8 episodes they will convincingly show some kind of change of heart about Saul...unless he stabs in her in the back himself....which I cant see either. They got too much history and each only has each other.

Last season when Howard was eating lunch with Clifford Main, Saul had the hookers harass him.

At the time Cliff probably didn't know what to think, since he knows Howard pretty well.

But now, after the coke, and Cliff seeing "Howard'" throw a hooker out of his car....the seeds have been planted.

Yeah I've seen quite a few people saying they don't get the point of the Howard subplot.

Did you all forget that Kim wanted to do this to fukk up the Sandpiper case, so Saul can get his cut? She explained it in the season 5 finale.

Furthermore, she did it so she could do pro bono for the rest of her life.

With Main offering to fund exactly that, and considering Mike respected her enough to tell her why she was being tailed, she is being courted from all sides with options for fate.

With the hints of Saul's character and largesse coming from her mind, coupled with the Zafiro top in a repo'd Goodman household, I still think she somehow stays alive and loyal to Jimmy.

They've also done a great job of, post-Chuck, contrasting Howard's positivity with Saul's descent.

so overall does this show surpass Breaking Bad?

Nah. Great in it's own right but has a lot of boring lawyer scenes that bring it down. Mike and the cartel's storyline outshines Saul and Kim
