Werner Ziegler's coworker's made that for his wife. The song playing during that cold intro scene was German as well.
It was one of his measuring tools that he used to help make the superlab. They were "his boys", as Werner's wife described them to Lalo in their conversation at the end of the episode.
Edit: The inscription on the engraving translates from German to "“Love … Your Boys.”

Admitting how close she was to the Hot Springs, how she yearned for engaging conversation, her "Little Bear" almost getting them all killed...
...the suspense for Margarethe was palpable.
She escaped a brush with a murderer, but I'm still not convinced that as viewers, we have escaped seeing Lalo's cruelty.
I fear for Kim. And Howard.

I wonder if mike’s guys and Howard’s guy will run into each other and there will be some kind of incident. Or maybe Howard ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time and gets clipped. I think Kim is gonna be around until the end of the season, and I think something bad might happen to Howard in the mid season finale
