The whole episode gave vibes of Nacho's impending doom, but I still didn't want to believe it. How could they kill such a loved character? They did it right, though. Mike had a soft spot for that kid; maybe he reminded him of his son in some sort of way.

Also, that conversation between Saul and Huell was pretty profound.

And after this episode...I hate that weak pathetic junkie even more. Only in a over hyped new age gangster series does that emo-addict gets to outlive so many good / alpha people.

Damn. This series so good it makes me hate even more BrBa.

Jesse is the cockroach that lived through the nuclear blast. No-one loves cockroaches, but they're survivors. :manny:

side note, are we still doubting Jesse getting a spinoff? I want to keep reiterating that he is because I know I'm right. El Camino was a whole teaser for it "good luck Mr driscoll"

Nacho put his trust in a man like Mike who was JV and wanted to be Varsity. Gus had no problems giving Nacho up and Mike never even realize it. He was never getting out that situation. Nacho was a pawn that ran his course. Walt knew the deal almost immediately, produce the blue and he lived , when Gale died he start planning and playing chess, Mike and Nacho played checkers.

Wow, awesome breakdown man.

how do you view this scene now when Mike tells Walt all he had to do was keep his mouth shut and make money, cuz the way you broke it down it’s not how Mike made it seem in that scene.

Incredible episode.

I dunno why but I'm thinking they try to pawn the cartel shyt off onto Howard.

Not even sure how they would but they're trying to ruin Howard + dealing with people snooping around Saul, could kill two birds with one stone.

One thing nobody mentioned is Kim met with Lalo last season. So she would definitely know who he is.

If anybody were to find that out, it's gonna make her look equally guilty because she just lied about it. Granted, she could just lie and say she forgot but it doesn't help their image at all.

Fred.
Maybe she takes the fall all together :manny:

The absolute omission of her existence still has to be addressed. It's gotta be a traumatic death, a betrayal, or some reason Saul can't discuss her whatsoever.

Jesse don't need no spinoff. His story was already told on Breaking Bad and El Camino. I'd rather see a Huell And Patrick spinoff before his. I'd rather see a Todd spinoff. I'd rather see a fukkin Jane spinoff. How bout no more spinoffs and Vince Gillian can go make some dope shyt outside the BB universe.

Just listened to the official podcast for ep 1, didn't even know they were still doing these since they wrote the season via Zoom.

Anyway, they clarified that Lalo was keeping that guy around solely to be his body double.

So Lalo had been planning this for years.

Also the bottle stopper at the start of the ep was CGI.

The podcast was an hour and a decent chunk of it was discussing the logistics of writing/filming around covid-19. Not a whole lot of easter eggs so far.

A whole season of Kuby trying to find the motel room that Huell has been sitting in since Hank told him he'd be right back.:ohhh:

Season 1 ends with Huell opening the motel door and Kuby takes a beat before saying

"You lost weight....:leon:"
