After that scene, I don't see the show spending too much more time within that timeframe next season...including the Gus/Mike/Nacho/Lalo storyline.

Maybe a few more episodes, and it's ON to the Jesse/Walt era.:blessed:

Honestly, this series is pretty much over. There’s not enough time between the official birth of Saul that happened tonight, the birth of the meth lab, and the introduction of Walt and Jesse, to stretch this beyond another 1-2 seasons, max.

They’re damn-near at breaking bad territory right now. The only way they can stretch it would be to delve into Saul’s life after meeting Walt, but before the call to Gus.

Exactly this. Get a glimpse of "Breaking Bad" from Saul's perspective. Him referring to Walt in the 3rd person to Kim (if they still talk) or someone else.

I’m no timeline specialist but I think only 2 years has passed over the past 4 seasons.

If there is going to be major B.B. characters coming in it would have to be Jesse and hank.

Loved the finale.

Mike killing Werner reminded me of Nucky (probably cuz Boardwalk Empire talk popped back up on here recently) but it felt like Mike's "can't be half a gangster" moment. Werner wasn't part of the game, but he had to be killed.

I'm surprised Werners wife would have a working cellphone in the US in that timeframe tho.

The parallels between the girl and Jimmy were obvious, but I thought Jimmy woulda played up that angle given all the other stuff he was tryna do to trump up his relationship with Chuck. Coulda told them how Chuck believing in him is what straightened him out and got him on the right path so this girl was a perfect candidate for a scholarship in Chuck's memory...he wasn't just excellence, he also saw the diamonds in the rough and helped make them shine.

Kim was legit shocked that Jimmy was faking it. This whole time she's been thinking Jimmy has repressed feelings about Chuck (hence pushing him to see a shrink), but now it looks like he genuinely is over it and doesn't give that much of a fukk about Chuck afterall.

I was expecting a more climatic intro/transition to Saul Goodman tho

In all honesty, the show should probably go one more season at most. Wrap it up with the origins of Saul in Breaking Bad and conclude the post-Breaking Bad story of Jimmy/Saul.
Yes. I think next season we will see what happened between jimmy and Kim, and then in parallel what happened to nacho and Lalo. That shouldn’t take more than a season and will basically tie up all the loose ends.

I think next season as Saul starts up his criminal practice his storyline will start to merge with the Salamanca’s and with mikes

What a great Finale :wow:

This time Kim had really believed he was sincere. This time she fell for his con herself and felt like a fool. It's a whole different thing when you're not in on the joke. Even if Jimmy meant a little of what he said about Chuck in that hearing, he will never admit to anyone. Even her.

:snoop: So Werner really thought he could go on vacation and come back? He really had no idea who he was dealing with. He was chilling on some shyt

It would have been SO easy to finish the job and go home. Its actually probably better Mike killed Werner. With the way Gus looked, I think Mike was quite merciful in comparison especially you're being followed by Lalo

Poor cashier at the currency exchange. He gives Mike a pass and is ultimately killed by Lalo’s nosy ass. Talk about in the wrong place at the wrong time. Also, I know Mike said that Lalo wasn’t told a lot when he talked to Werner, but I think Gus knows better.

:mjlol: Gale's enthusiasm was very funny and he was like :blessed: :hula:but Gus showed him a side he hadn't seen before on some :birdman: and Gale was like :merchant::hubie: :laff:

Lalo smart enough to find the laundromat?
Lalo is definitely the smartest Salamanca so far. He was able to tail mike for at least awhile to find the money exchange, and then get at least some information from Werner. Probably could have gotten more if mike hadn’t got to Werner. Imagine Tuco or hector having that kind of patience

That said, still has that :demonic: Salamanca spirit and recklessness, climbing through a ceiling and killing a clerk where there’s probably cameras everywhere

That's not gonna happen. The final season is somehow going to tie up the events of what happened in the aftermath of Breaking Bad with the events previous to Break Bad. Kim would be DEFINITELY out of the picture. And keep in mind, he said he was married previous times before which means that pre-Breaking Bad would be several years apart before he ever heard of Jesse, to which he never PERSONALLY met until season 2 of that show.

I have no clear idea as to what would happen in the future, but season 5 definitely be about putting the remaining pieces together. So, we know at some point Mike would return to Saul to become his P.I. I think that German team will become's Mike's team while working with Gus. Tuco have to be released from prison and take over taking care of Hector which means Gus will somehow kill off Lalo. Nacho will somehow eventually reach out to Saul. Gus would eventually break free and become an independent meth dealer.
