Hank did say they had a DEA agent outside of Huell's door but he didn't know the details of the case. They basically told him "do us a favor and watch this guy".

So after Hank and Gomez didn't show back up, that agent would probably call somebody and start asking questions. Then in the next episode the police find out Hank and Gomez are dead so the DEA would definitely keep Huell in custody.

Fred.

They would of figured out they were missing but it’s not like huell knew everything Saul did. Money laundering was his biggest thing

Y'all forget that its likely that he knew about Gus history of being in the military and didn't want risk him being caught at all. Even though Gus already knows :wow:
That’s what I didn’t like. He didn’t want to risk being caught but he then stops in the middle of a bridge to dump the pills then angrily throws the bottle into the river. If someone saw that, which they did, thats suspicious as fukk.

I checked out after about 4 episodes in season 1
..I just got back into it on Netflix and it looks way more promising than I remember...is the show me good or is everyone just watching out of devotion/obligation ? Any trash seasons ? Got a lot of free time these next couple of days ..

It’s a dry burn building up to season 3

I just love the show, it’s not for some people

where they cross-over and clap boards
This is about as short as I can make a Mike summary:

Mike started doing light goon work around ABQ to make money....one of his clients (Daniel, the base ball card guy) starts selling drugs to Nacho, who is trying to make money on the side with out Tuco knowing. Eventually Daniel fukks that situation up and Mike has to tell Nacho to back off.

While all that is going on Stacy (Mike's daughter-in-law) claims there's constant shooting, gangs, etc. in her neighborhood. Mike finds out she's lying but decides to help her move anyway because he's still guilty over his son's death.

He goes to the veterinarian that hooks him up with goon jobs and tells him he needs more money. The vet tells him he's gotta do deeper goon work and there's a guy looking for a hit man. Mike meets with the client....and it's Nacho. Nacho wants Tuco dead because he's started doing meth and is acting crazy as fukk.

Mike tells him they can't kill Tuco, it would start a cartel war. Mike comes up with a plan (hit Tuco's car, starts a fight with him, etc.) that lands Tuco in jail. It seems like a great idea until Hector steps to Mike like "my nephew Tuco had a gun on him, you're gonna say it's yours so he can get out of jail early". Mike hires Saul as a lawyer and eats the gun charge because he doesn't have much choice.

Mike's ego can't let that slide so he starts fukking with the cartel behind the scenes. Stealing their money, fukking with their dope shipments, etc. That eventually leads to him plotting to kill Hector, and Gus steps in and tells him not to. Gus has been watching Mike since he started beefing with the cartels, he tells him "I can use someone like you" so he offers Mike a job as a security consultant to help launder his goon money.

And that's where we currently are.

Fred.

I needed this :salute:

The opening for this season.... :ohhh: I was on the edge of my seat :damn:

:ohhh:
Notice when Jimmy dissed Howard by passing the blame onto him what he was looking at? He was looking at his future. They knew exactly what they were doing when they filmed this scene. He is Saul here.

Man, I hope we get that Gus origin after BCS finishes. I don’t want the BB Universe to end. :mjcry:

that would be dope but a lot of the actors are getting old so it'd have to be soon

the dudes who play Mike and Hector are both like 70, the rest are 50+

Do we really know for a fact that the "Gene" scenes are POST Breaking Bad? The "Granite State" episode covered a lot of time after Ozymandias and before the Finale. I've always thought that the Cinnabun scenes might take place while Walter White was still on the run himself, and one day we'll see Gene watching the "Gray Matter" interview on TV.

They were confirmed as post-"Breaking Bad". A few months after Walt's death.

In the flash forward in season 2 when Gene accidentally locks himself in the trash room, the janitor that eventually let him out was listening to a Rich Eisen show....a fan found that show and it was roughly early 2011....remember "Breaking Bad" was only 2 years, which would've put it at some point in mid/late 2010.

During one of the podcasts the writers admitted they threw that Rich Eisen show in there to let fans know when it was, without overtly referring to it in the show.

True but Huell got questioned because he helped hide $80 mill worth of dope money in the desert....look at it from his perspective. He's sitting in this room because he thinks Pinkman is dead, and Walt is putting out hits on everyone. Next thing he hears, Hank and Gomez are dead. The average person would start snitching on everybody. He's gonna tell them literally anything he can to save his own ass.

Make up and CGI :youngsabo:

Gus origin should only go 2 seasons. Have it start out with how he and homie linked up for the food chain and drugs, then have it end when they meet The Don.

Or have the series start after the meeting, then end with him ending up in ABQ.
