Hank did say they had a DEA agent outside of Huell's door but he didn't know the details of the case. They basically told him "do us a favor and watch this guy".
So after Hank and Gomez didn't show back up, that agent would probably call somebody and start asking questions. Then in the next episode the police find out Hank and Gomez are dead so the DEA would definitely keep Huell in custody.

Nacho couldn't just dump the pills in his crib down the toilet or somethin?....son had to make a dramatic production out of it and got spotted....
the mike storyline is very interesting......can't wait to see how he and Gus link.....

The cold opening was fantastic--really felt the tension in the scenes with the hospital receptionist and the taxi driver. Odenkirk is a great actor.
I love the scenes where we just follow Mike, with no idea what he's up to just watching and trying to figure it out.
His reaction to Howard was the most evil we've seen Jimmy on BCS.

Do we really know for a fact that the "Gene" scenes are POST Breaking Bad? The "Granite State" episode covered a lot of time after Ozymandias and before the Finale. I've always thought that the Cinnabun scenes might take place while Walter White was still on the run himself, and one day we'll see Gene watching the "Gray Matter" interview on TV.
Considering that Saul looks totally defeated I bet those scenes are years after breaking bad. His hair has also considerably thinned up top on purpose
