One of the best parts of this show is that it's not too dark / ripe with tension all the time like Breaking Bad was. They don't do the likable and "good" characters like that and shouldn't

They don't show scenes like that for no reason. And we all know what Jimmy and Kim had, ended leading up to BB. And there's never a clean mutual break between characters on these shows without something catastrophic happening.

Another great episode. Interested to see where this trial of Jimmy goes... Have a feeling it could really backfire on Chuck if Jimmy calls his mental competence into question and finds a way to prove Chuck's crazy in court.

Maybe that's how Chuck's chapter ends? He loses to Jimmy in court, Hamlin realises this has gone too far and that Chuck needs help, leading to him being pushed out of HHM (or suspended indefinitely from working on any cases while he receives psychiatric help).

Humiliated that his 'crooked' little brother, who people have always generally liked more than him, could find a way to beat him at his own game (the law), Chuck takes his own life, not able to go on after losing the one thing he's always had over Jimmy. This destroys what's left of Jimmy McGill's morality and lays the ground work for an immoral Saul Goodman to completely takeover, with all the Breaking Bad level fukkery ensuing.

Damn, I was pretty close... Great end to probably the best season yet. :wow:

The fukking cold open was a callback to the book 'Mabel' they talked about in the first ep. That was supposed to be Jimmy and Chuck as kids in the tent :mindblown: Really fitting as it seemed to be the last happy memory they had together.

Chuck got a taste of the treatment he gave Jimmy over the years from Howard :wow:

Jimmy looking after invalids again. :ohhh:

Hector got into Nacho's pops' business :mjcry: Gilligan getting cute with the little red bell on the counter too :lolbron:

Francesca is super invested in the business now :jbhmm:

Chuck still torturing himself with electricity to prove a point to visitors :usure:

He was right about the "remorse" thing though - After seeing Irene, Jimmy tried to apologize to her friends.

Gus helped Hector when he was stroking out??!?!? :ohhh::ohhh::ohhh:This nikka REALLY wanted the pleasure of being the person to kill him.

"The more I try to make them like her - the more they end up loving me instead" He had damn near the same problem with Walt and Jesse.:mjlol:

Jimmy came through with the live mic, because he couldn't fukk up the friendship. That was his last loose end. At this point he's Saul walking around in Jimmy's skin.

Chuck cooked himself like Jiffy Pop. :wow:

Great episode and season. But god damn we gotta wait a year for the next one.
And no Mike was wack as hell.:what:

I kinda think Chuck committed suicide.

Fred.

I think he did too.

The cold open blew my mind when I thought about it - it brings this season (and Jimmy and Chuck's relationship) full circle. They talked about Chuck reading the book to Jimmy when they were kids in the first episode, and it was a memory they both spoke fondly of.

It felt like there was an intentional finality on Chuck's part, when he dealt with Howard and Jimmy, who were the only people who checked for him too. :jbhmm:

:ohlawd:That scene with Chuck tearing up his home was so symbolic of what he did throughout his life and to his firm. Took everything out of him all for one little cord/Jimmy.

:ufdup:He knew after he kicked that no regrets shyt to Jimmy he himself had to cut the BS and stop fronting like he was better. Took the easy way out instead of swallowing his pride and asking Jimmy for help or even forgiving him.

:mindblown:If we thought Jimmy didn't give af before, next season will be Saul in full form.
