I was hoping Chuck was going to die that whole episode. Was thinking maybe a heart attack but I guess you can't have two heart attacks in one episode.

He had better be dead his old ass wasn't getting out of that fire.

aside from the scene with chuck and jimmy, that didnt feel like a season finale. felt like another episdoe.

im interested to see where they take the chuck storyline next season. i feel like this show needs a brand new character to close it out

Chuck's been my favorite character and he's very sympathetic in my opinion, so this episode was a perfect send off for him.

So what's that Gus rushing to Hector's aid thing about? An instinctive reflex of empathy? Not wanting Hector to die so he would be the one to torture/kill him? Or does he somehow still need him for business?

:wow:

great finale

jimmy does the right thing about irene :ehh: second time in the series jimmy lets go of 1+ milly

chuck basically told jimmy to embrace who he is, tells him goodbye in his own a$$hole way and then went nuts after he lost his last family and work
kim also told jimmy to embrace who he is (break shyt instead of fixing/creating shyt)
chuck didnt expect howard to basically call his bluff. chuck needed HHM more than they needed him. aint shyt to do for him anymore.
I knew that time chuck was telling his therapist about a large lit place and everyone applauding him was foreshadowing. he didnt expect it to be like that tho

gus tries to save hector to make him suffer, I think he knows about nachos pills or suspects something about it if mike aint told him

and yeah I agree michael mckean should get an emmy for this season.

Knew Chuck was going to die when they focused on him so much this episode and it being a finale called "Lantern". I feel like it may be some foreshadowing for Kim when she chose the "good" pills over ibuprofen. Kimmy might get hooked on them opiates.

Jimmy did the right then for Irene and them but with his brother dying and telling him to embrace his bad side while simultaneously telling him never gave a fukk about him is going to push Jimmy into Saul with no point of return.
