Remind me again who that was? I couldn't remember whose body that was and how Mike knew where it was.

It hasn't been confirmed, but I assume it was the lady he met while building the playground for his granddaughter. During the support meetings he attends with his daughter-in-law, she mentioned how her husband went hiking and one day just went missing. The part that haunts her was just not knowing what happened to him.

I'm pretty sure he was digging up the body of the witness that Salamanca killed at the end of last season.

@hex Any insight on who the buried body was?

I'm thinking it's the guy the cartel killed last season for helping the truck driver. Mike wanted him to have a proper burial....which would explain him saying he needed something from Nacho last ep.

I could be wrong though. :manny:

nah thats exactly what it is. the devils advocate chick made mike think about how that good samaritan disappeared and how relatives of that guy would want closure. so he helped nacho and in exchange he got info about where they buried that body.

so while I dont think its the same guy as that womans husband (vince doesnt really do coincidences like that), it makes me wonder how mike knew to search for a wedding ring. so it might be her husband after all.

I'm assuming Mike already knew the guy was married when he had the conversation with "The Devil's Advocate" lady, which is what made him look for the body. Her story got to him.

As far as how he knew that, he could've gotten the info from Nacho. They did get rid of his car and body.

Didn't have to be a wedding ring...could have been a belt buckle, a watch, etc. I think he just figured the body would have something that a metal detector would pick up.

Great episode.

The pill switch scene was tension too much had me from :merchant: to :lupe: to :whew:. I do like the brief glimpses of Nacho's dad and seeing how kind and good he is, and it makes me see why Nacho is willing to risk himself like this.

Chuck won me back over. The way he was so gleeful he was just this side of manic when he was talking to the doctor about being well again. How hard he pushed himself in the grocery store. That he really took the battery-in-the-pocket revelation to heart. Chuck can be an a$$hole, but he's got some mental toughness. Gotta respect that....:ehh:

I'm getting nervous with every Kim scene now, because I keep waiting for something to happen that will cause her downfall on some level. It is really only a matter of time before she is through with Jimmy, but I really hope she gets out of this somehow, and finds success elsewhere. But I can easily see her becoming a victim of some kind due to Jimmy's eventual transformation to Saul.

And... the Mike scene in the desert! I honestly first thought that the hand he found was the husband of his new lady friend -- I thought that the wedding ring was supposed to clue us in to it being her husband. But, aside from being blue, the hand looked to be in good shape. It can't be the husband. It's got to be the Good Samaritan.

I like the scenes with Mike and Gus together. They have developed a mutual respect early on.
