Nah the new talent thinned out before Norbes left. As that was happening Norbes health was declining severely. There was controversy over people paying for PGs, or paying him to host to get PGs. He can't do anything to make these guys better. They need better rappers & performers to get into battle rap for it to grow.

ARP started with a not so great business model. He has tried to use his resources to get out from under the idea that he is picking URL talent but it hasn't worked.

It’s sad. I am an avid battle rap fan, but my current interest is almost at zero. Battle rap has really fallen off over the last couple of years. This is the worst the culture has been since 2010 imo.

They need to switch their pitch imo, that URL “we killers and criminals and drug kingpins…who just rap extremely well!!!” BS gets boring and corny…and it limits your scope and the heights you can reach, all imo. Go back to that “I’m the illest ever, I’m wayyyyy better than you” rugged shh, I think you’d get more people like that.

Battle rap doesn’t attract the same crowd that regular rap attracts, I think the battle rap sect is smarter and more into lyrics and skill sets and shh like that…so you coming on stage with 2 Cubans on and an Amiri sweater and all that tryna look like a Migos member is kinda counterintuitive, lol…you literally underneath the underground but tryna look and act like Birdman…or Smack or somebody lol, this shh supposed to be where the rappity rap is at. Get back to the rough rugged and raw, fight clubish aesthetic, stop trying to be Goodz stylistically but rap like Twork smh
