He aint get bodied, he lost
Kshine rounds were hyped bars and gas
battle community always has the us against them mentality
industry rapper vs battle rapper
vet vs rookie
crowds stay bias feeling like if the battle rapper loses it makes the culture less relevant

That shiit nutty.

They wanna talk outdated bars ? I don't have time to type out all the hot :trash: Kay Shine was spittin in that and the Geechi battle.

And Mickey Factz (if that counts).

Millz isn’t the hill you wanna die on when it comes to industry vs battle rappers. You would be better off arguing that Mickey Factz is undefeated in the modern era as an industry rapper (he beat Danja to me and DNA is debatable but I have him winning).

Millz had an a’ite first round but clearly lost and then his material dived off a cliff for his second and third rounds. He couldn’t even get his current event bars right.

Consensus is Mickey lost to Danja Zone & DNA.

Mickey’s rounds get better on rewatch over DNA’s rounds but I won’t argue with the consensus.
this rewatch thing is something I don't like
people rewatch to find a way to give rappers battles
punches dont hit the same after you already hear them
battles dont feel the same after you listen to 10 nyggas opinions before you watch it
live feel is way different too

These dudes swear they're so next level with it , but has an 'industry rapper' even lost yet , let alone been bodied ?

Minus a drugged up Canibus of course

The budden battle was a joke. Not sure if i would call it a clear loss but it was a clear non-win if that makes sense

Hollow threw the battle for whatever reason. If he hadnt Budden would have been dog food

You aren't always going to catch everything on First watch/listen.

Also it depends on what your criteria is, how you judge a battle.

Bars
Performance/Showmanship
Rapping and Cadence

Performance art has so many little nuisances to it, it isn't as straight forward as it seems.

When you’re watching pen heavy rappers, I honestly think you can judge their battle off first watch. There’s a reason why guys like DNA, Clips, Roc, Geechi, Suge, etc win in the building because their bars are easy to digest. You can’t watch someone like Mickey, Rum, Lux, Verb and catch everything off first watch.

so back in the day how did nyggas like this win :jbhmm:
I be having debates and I can t rock with doing extra shyt to decode bars
people have told me listen to the bars and not watch the vid like bruh mannerism are part of the battle
if you pen heavy and go over people's head you lost
a nygga can always say you aint catch my shyt or wait til its on cam

This whole discredit Cass narrative...I am not buying it all the way. I think Cass continually gets credit still even if people got him losing to Goodz.
Let's face it, the dude is acting like he is unbeatable when in fact, he can be beat.
Look at the face off again and notice what Flip was sayin'.
Cass was talking about the fans he already he has while he is on stage with Swizz performing his hits.
Which is cool but the question remains...is that a battle rap crowd?

Was Cass around when SMACK was starting out, of course. But so was alot of folks who are around today.
