I have never heard a Cassidy album. Imma gonna check out his earlier albums today.

Aim 4 the head opened my eyes back then though. Prior to that I thought he was just a generic rapper. It’s not his fault. A lot of guys east coast guys like Cassidy, Budden, etc were presented to the world as sort of corny. You wouldn’t know how they really get down back then unless you are from their region.

If i didn’t stumble on mood muzik on accident, i would probably think Joe is trash until this day.

No it's not. But it's comical how people say Goodz is gonna wash cass when he never washed anyone(besides that one rounder with danja). Cass on his worst day is still lyrically better then Goodz.

Goodz has experience on his side. Thats about it.

But speaking of that danja battle we really need to give credit where its due. That one battle was the sole reason Danja did a complete life revamp and became battler of the year the very next year Goodz did a service to battle rap for that body lol.

This whole discredit Cass narrative...I am not buying it all the way. I think Cass continually gets credit still even if people got him losing to Goodz.
Let's face it, the dude is acting like he is unbeatable when in fact, he can be beat.
Look at the face off again and notice what Flip was sayin'.
Cass was talking about the fans he already he has while he is on stage with Swizz performing his hits.
Which is cool but the question remains...is that a battle rap crowd?

Was Cass around when SMACK was starting out, of course. But so was alot of folks who are around today.
