I can't believe this COTY shyt is still going on
I've been watching the playoffs and haven't really tuned in but sheesh

This COTY "broadcast" is horrible. I skipped a couple hours, came back, they're at like 17. Skipped another couple, they're in Top 10, but they just drag and drag. If they're not playing it live, edit that shyt down. It's ridiculous. I'm starting to not give a fukk.

Right. As if anyone cares or remembers if someone was 17 or 11. Maybe the individual battlers do, but overall, it's irrelevant.

Most these nikkas don’t love BATTLERAP, they love specific rappers. That’s the problem.Definitely the worst panel so far. This whole shyt is a mess, everybody just shouting over each other not making any valid points. And they keep picking and choosing when the criteria matters
They don’t love the art enough for it to be critiqued on its own, so they resort to dumb metrics that don’t matter.
A rapper could literally drop a 5 mic album that sells 40K and they’ll shyt on it to praise a 3.5 mic album that sold a 100K. Just cause “more people bought it, that’s starpower”
It’s a sad how terrible their mindset is. The whole lense they view this art / culture through is anti-cultural.

And when Anwar was asked to defend his argument since A Ward had TEN more battles.
