Yeah, my overall thoughts are that Remy talks a big game and I hope that she can deliver. And yeah, QOTR needs to get their shyt together. Chris really exposed just how trash QOTR's promo/marketing is, and that's their biggest weakness. that and Debo being all in the videos

I’m already not agreeing with him. I don’t think Remy is going to be around long. The only people that have been able to run a league were in the culture like Ars, Jjdd, Steams, Dre Dennis, etc. A lot of league owners are battlers, so they already understand the business somewhat. Even then, their leagues cooled off like UW and Bull pen.
These outsiders come in with unrealistic ideas. You’re going to pay every female on the card a minimum of 10k? That doesn’t seem sustainable. She’s also taking the worst approach to building a league imo. The best way is to start from the ground up, developing your own talent.
I’ve also said female battle rap would be better off if the URL just ran with it. Their loyalty to qotr actually hurts female battle rap. They help qotr with their partnership, but that’s it. It’s like qotr has no resources. If they didn’t have this partnership, there would be no events. They should just sell qotr to url and walk away.

No telling if she got Joe Budden involved. She's connected enough to get that bag. Not sure how much of a bag it is but it has to be enough for her lock in this card. I won't say she isn't eating but she isn't starving either.

Yep, as I've said before, we've seen this movie a million times already, outsiders always come in with all of these ppromises of taking battle rap to the promised land, only to quit after their first event doesn't make a profit. Meanwhile top tiers just hit a lick and bounce after the first event and SMACK is just looking on and laughing
I agree that Remy Mas is better off starting up a farm league like Gates of the Garden/WGH. Just putting big cards together isn't sustainable and at best is a cash grab for the battlers.

And you know this, how? 5 battles at 10K each is 100K which she (and Papoose) can probably raise with zero issue. If she didn't have it (unlikely), she could probably get it from Joe (Cartagena) with a phone call.
