NopeWith a different messenger you’d probably agree with the post.
Regardless, my point remains. Surf is full of shyt. He's only propping up TODD to make his win look greater. That nikka doesn't have a sincere bone in his body.

And we thought Daylyt was full of shyt...

Using this logic he would prop Cal up even more since that’s who is about to battle.Nope

He hasn't beaten Cal yet. This is the "he ain't shyt, watch what I do to him" phase. Same old shyt.Using this logic he would prop Cal up even more since that’s who is about to battle.
While I prefer Calicoe way more than JJDD and do think he's better and FAR more entertaining, from a technical perspective, Surf isn't really "wrong". Calicoe technically is not a puncher, he doesn't scheme really, he doesn't even have heavy angles too often (he can). JJDD does all of that. But JJDD's issue has always been he's a cookie cutter battler. He is literally just a "insert battle rapper here" type guy. He does nothing that will move you.
Calicoe on the other hand, is a complete wild card in that he is clever, and can say things that make you view a battler differently. He also is just a far better pure rapper than JJDD from the flow, to delivery and ability to convey a message.
JJDD will put a whole scheme together, and you'll come away thinking "that was ass" or at best "that was okay", but technically it was a scheme, so it's a battle rap attribute that makes him more technically proficient than Calicoe on paper. However, Calicoe can say one sentence and damn near win a round. JJDD doesn't have that ability. And you can't teach that.
Do you think what he actually said was untrue? Take your feelings out of it and just judge the actual statement? He hasn't beaten Cal yet. This is the "he ain't shyt, watch what I do to him" phase. Same old shyt.
Eh, I see what you’re saying but it’s simply not enough. It’s like saying a guy can dribble with both hands and has a technically sound shooting form so therefore the fans are wrong for not treating him like a GOAT. John John simply does the bare minimum, which is cool but nobody is wrong for asking “What else?” or for liking more dynamic but less consistent battlers over him. John John is like Tim Hardaway Jr, he’s reliable and shows up every game and occasionally can outshine better players when they don’t bring it, but he simply doesn’t have a high ceiling because he’s not anything above average.People just like Cal more in the long run and will downplay how consistent JJDD has been; even with his losses, he has shown up. JJDD does all the things fans want from a battle rapper but he isn’t as well liked. He doesn’t choke, comes prepared, has bars, has performance, and etc. which fans constantly complain these battle rappers don’t do. But with him, the fans are like “yeah he did all that…AND?”. I think it’s bullshyt but hey fans like who they like; I get it, that’s just battle rap. I agree that Cal always has that special spark to the way he battles and he doesn’t punch a lot. Part of what makes this rematch funny is how he has gone at The Brothahood and him not giving fukk. Yeah Cal moves a different way in battle rap and I salute him for it.
It has nothing to do with "feelings". Surf is on his usual narrative weaving bullshyt. You can argue it either way. That's part of why his bullshyt works.Do you think what he actually said was untrue? Take your feelings out of it and just judge the actual statement?

Nuborn i can understand cuz his bars might have the craziest replay value in battle rap when you look at how long ago he was rapping like thatTy Law and Nuborn will forever be the biggest disappointments to me.
