Both of these cards are kinda ass to me, even though I'm still gonna watch both
Drake card is just random top tier names picked out of a hat
Vol 8 is filled w/ battles i could care less about (Loso/Ars, Chilla/Chaos, DNA/Los, JC/Serius)
Is this sarcasm or are you really looking forward to these battles??
ARP ain’t willing to deal with the same fukkery dealing with these unprofessional battles that Smack will deal with. Probably good for his personal mental health but being willing to deal with the BS is how Smack and his brand got this big.

I’m not going to say this forum is anti performers, but nyggas on here are more partial to pen guys.
Like this volume 8 is just okay to me. I don’t see anything too crazy based on what was announced.

Smack insulates himself through the chain of command. You have to talk to P, Chico, or Beasley before you can get to Smack. It’s a proven model that works. In the military you can’t just stroll in the Commander’s office. you gotta go through the 1st Sergeant & Vice Commander. Their his watchdogs and handle all issues.
ARP’s problem is that he’s too involved. He deals more directly with his battlers from a business/friendship standpoint…and when he gets burned he takes it very personal (Verb, Goodz, JC, Serius, etc.)
Because he rarely does say anything hot. Like you said, he just punches constantly and is decently consistent. But I don’t think I can remember one Ave line off the top of my head, and I’ve seen all of his major battles. Only Ave line I remember is Suge putting in work on the Ave with the jackhammer.

His name flips/wordplay is so uninspiring and mundane. His set ups are dope. Well written, dope rhyme schemes and a nice flow. He leans his punches on his set ups (as anyone should tbh) but the punch be so flaccid its like it was all for nothing...
