Mook asking 3 to break down the Tommy/front work bar...lol

This is another reason why 3 and Angryfan they don't even understand bars they reacting to. Even Chess called 3 out the other day during their live saying he just be chatting sometimes. 3 tries to gloss over shyt because he knows put to scrutiny he wouldn't really be able to break down half his opinions.

Agreed. People more basic than Geechi have beaten Lux. This is battle rap not battle write. Lux has to get to his point faster, clearer and implement more punches into his rounds. Lux's formatting of how he battles is amazing, and I love it from a artistic standpoint, but this era isn't really gravitating towards his style anymore. It's not hitting the same. So he has two options, do some tweaking to it to make it more digestible, or revert back to Grey Hoodie Lux.

Let me add that a guy like Lux is so respected, that he should ideally get the best version of his opponents.

I think this should be a debatable battle. Outside of the Mook debacle, Lux doesn’t really clearly lose.

With Geechi, there’s battles in my opinion that he’s clearly lost, but then you’ll look around and people have him winning those. He typically has a lot of debatables.

Agreed. I think it'll be close, and probably Lux's most entertaining battle since Hollow. At least since Clips. Geechi doesn't have bad battles.

Geechi is just the guy right now so his fan base is super strong. Unless it's an award situation most will count his debatables as wins
This is pretty much what happens. I thought he lost clearly to Arsonal, Surf, Goodz, Chilla, Cal, JJDD, Ill Will, Ave but all those are considered wins (besides Surf) or close debatable battles. Geechi usually always has 3 solid rounds, and he usually a few memorable lines, that along with his popularity plus battle rap is subjective, all adds up to him getting "wins" from the consensus that he doesn't have.

yep

Putting on entertaining performances + not clearly losing from a consensus standpoint = “ a run in battle rap”

That’s basically what Tay Roc’s “run” was years back. You’re about to see EZ go on the same type of run. Every top tier is going to want to battle him.

I’ve always said the best options for Lux are to either take the biggest battle, best battle stylistically, or battles that make sense. Hitman has always been particularly good at this.

Geechi is the biggest battle imo.

It’s like I said during Summer Madness…these current battlers don’t fear Mook & Lux like that. It wasn’t until Mook’s performance against Reed on the big stage that I finally got why…

…I used to swear Twork, Brizz, Ave, etc. we’re just being haters by acting like “GOATs” can’t do nothin with them…but now I get it. On a big stage, they’d do em filthy off the sheer fact that they are more acclimated to packaging their material and delivering to today’s crowd by current standards.

Like…If THAT Mook we just saw at SM11 battled Brizz on a big stage, it’d be a bloodbath.

:mjlol: I believe you thought I was hating on him as well

Mook is there to be 3-0 body bagged if he doesn’t make changes. To his credit, he doesn’t put himself in situations that allow it to happen. It should have happened at SM11, but Reed was the perfect opponent, as he’s just as outdated as Mook.

I’ve also said he would have been booed in the building down south if he spit that shyt he did against Verb. He’s fortunate that was a home game. I’m not sure Atlanta would allow him to finish a 30 min round.

Someone is going to do this nygga dirty eventually.
