Surf was never gonna battle those two anyway.

How do you know surf wouldn’t and why shouldn’t he ? We wouldn’t have necessarily thought surf would’ve battle t top or nitty or reed and he did . I don’t see why chess or ez couldn’t get to a level where people Would want a matchup with surf

it seems better for evaluating talent rather than judging battles, which is why I wouldn’t be mad if it were a situation where KOTD was trying to compile new talent through this system.

however that is not the case

to be fair I haven’t watched the battle

yeah it’s a tricky situation. avo got the results wrong and handed them off to lush and he read them wrong. he basically saw the rounds that were won but not the points. raw scoring high in the first two rounds then losing to cityy with the highest scoring round of the whole battle in the third was what happened.

I like the system because now they have way more organization. but I see where they have issues that needed to be addressed. and the league seems doing good by creating that system except for situations like this. Pretty sure in Season 2, they’ll have to refine that point system some more.

Because the stuff you’re bytching about has nothing to do with the actual battles. These are things that won’t bother fans (outside of weirdos like yourself), these are things that should actually bother the people he’s doing it to. Which explains why he’s been shot up before and a lot of his peers dislike him. The only thing the viewers would take issue with is the choking or the reaching.

Like…do you think at your place of business…any and everybody should just be able say and do what the fukk they want? People say battle rap is a business now, right? Ok then. In the battles, he has been fukking up mainly except for his last battle obviously and a few others. Outside the battles, talking crazy and spinning narratives I’m not rocking with it. You can’t change my mind about that because I don’t respect it. Bottom line, you rock with that shyt because you love the entertainment. Me, I draw the line on some of it because talking crazy to everybody doesn’t appeal to me. When it comes to battles, it’s shyt talk for the ring and I get it. Beyond that, not feeling it like that.

Never really crossed my mind, but a lot of battlers probably gonna have major issues disciplining their teenage kids once they start rebelling and acting reckless lol.

Surf and EZ both said on live that they still gonna battle. But obviously the animosity not gonna be there and will take away from how good that battle is supposed to be. EZ has already teamed up with Roc so that battle would suffer from the same thing.

it could still potentially be a good battle. id rather them not team up but at least its better knowing theyll still battle than having it completely off the table

Basically saying people have friendly battles because they want to, but if nikkas are competitive, it won’t matter if you’re cool.

I think the era of real animosity is pretty much over. These nikkas see each other damn near every two weeks now. Everyone goes to the same events, chop it up. I think lack of quality battles has more to do with the battlers being lazy and content with their status more than being cool with one another.. All the new class people are cool with each other and always have fire battles.
