Lux doesn't belong under Mook :mjcry: This is like Nas joining Def Jam while Jay was president all over again :mjcry: Mook bout to be like "You can't sign Lux, you can only partner with him" :mjcry:

More so under Rex

I view Rex as the leader, but I guess I can understand how Mook can be viewed as that guy

New Surf album is straight… but I see what calicoe meant when he called surf one dimensional.

Yeah I’m checking it out now so far so good. Between this album, the two albums Marv Won dropped (yes you heard right), the joint Lux got with Cambatta, and DNA’s joint, these dudes are dropping some solid projects.

I agree. Nitty definitely has the edge over him in terms of longevity. Nitty has been consistently good for 5 years now. When he was on KOTD and crying on Angryfans and contemplating retirement, he wasn't good then. But he randomly got super good at punchlines. It's actually kinda weird. He went from a low-key cringe joke style with some punches into a full fledged gun-bar specialist with over the head creative punches out of nowhere. His career trajectory is kinda wild when you think about it.

The thing that surprised me about Magic, going back, is that some of his punchlines are crazier than I even remember. Like I was always a big fan of him in his prime, but like most punchline rappers, when I go back I expect almost everything to sound dated. What surprised me is how much some of B Magic's lines still hold up in 2021. Even battles as old as 9-10 years ago, he still has punches that could rock a room today.

His rounds against Chilla and DNA still sound fresh to me
