I just think Hollow wasnt battling
Hollow vs JC or DNA or Geechi would easily happen
Nitty just declined cuz he focused on 100k
why would u set up the Hollow battle until you see how the tournament goes
Seeing drugz and casey jay battle is foolish to me I would be focused on 100k

Hollow not battling alone would have zero impact on his status. His last two performances being subpar really hurt his standing.

What I said had nothing to do with why Nitty declined, I was answering why is Hollow's status not the same.

I agree except I don't think Hollow's god-tier was manufactured. Without him street battlers would probably still feel as if incorporating off the head rhymes in their battles is strictly for backpackers.

Hollow & Diz had "End Game" battler status because they had big GrindTime/KOTD fanbases. They just don't have that hype anymore with now that those fanbases don't have as much influence on battle rap.

In addition to losing badly to Math I think that L.O.M fiasco really hurt him. That gear was rocking and rolling even as his hype as a battler was dying down. Now he's just too disconnected from what's going. I think he's capable of getting back in the mix with the right moves. Too bad he already battle John John they could have cashed out in this current climate.

Maybe. When I say end-game, I think more Smack/URL, fair point on the KOTD crowd. For them, sure, Hollow fit that bill for his GT work. But on the URL side, I don't think he was viewed like that until the Lux battle

Pretty much.....the brc hyped him because him & lux was going back and forth for years, and he had to take a vacation in the midst of that. It was never because he actually deserved to battle Lux. It just made the most sense because the back story sold itself and they really didn't like each other fr.
