Basically said he’ll smoke Rum Nitty and that Nitty is scared. URL tried to make it happen in 3 weeks and Nitty declined and said he’s not ready. He said since they been going back and forth for over a year Nitty should’ve already had bars for him.

Hollow also said he’d smoke DNA this weekend.

I was able to listen to the audio. It just doesn’t seem to make much sense for Nitty to battle while he’s in a tournament.

Also, this is a big battle for Nitty. It would be way more beneficial for him if it was treated as such. He needs this on Nome/SM along with the payday associated with it. Hollow is trying to make it a small scale battle. Hollow really out here thinking all nyggas are like Danny Myers and should be happy to battle him.

His last few performances haven't been good, and so his stock has fallen a lot. Especially the Math battle. He got bodied by someone that's not considered an "elite".


The difference between Mook and Lux vs Hollow is no singular bad/lackluster performance from them will ever take them out of being the "End Game" because they're pioneers along with their legendary status from prior performances. Whereas Hollow's god-tier status was always kind of a manufactured. He was never looked at at that level until he battled Lux and people put him there. He been a legend but nobody looked at him as an "End Game" until then, and since then he's gradually lost that mystique. He's still a notch above the super top tiers (Verb, Clips, Ars, Roc), but below a Lux and Mook in terms of status culturally.

If anyone remembers in the old days of this forum, Geechi is exactly what I was looking for in a west coast battle rapper. The west coast was supplying nothing but weirdos at one point in time. I was told it was not possible.

I agree except I don't think Hollow's god-tier was manufactured. Without him street battlers would probably still feel as if incorporating off the head rhymes in their battles is strictly for backpackers.

Hollow & Diz had "End Game" battler status because they had big GrindTime/KOTD fanbases. They just don't have that hype anymore with now that those fanbases don't have as much influence on battle rap.

In addition to losing badly to Math I think that L.O.M fiasco really hurt him. That gear was rocking and rolling even as his hype as a battler was dying down. Now he's just too disconnected from what's going. I think he's capable of getting back in the mix with the right moves. Too bad he already battle John John they could have cashed out in this current climate.

I just think Hollow wasnt battling
Hollow vs JC or DNA or Geechi would easily happen
Nitty just declined cuz he focused on 100k
why would u set up the Hollow battle until you see how the tournament goes
Seeing drugz and casey jay battle is foolish to me I would be focused on 100k
