I think Joe should still be involved in music, not necessarily as an artist, but more so on the development side.

It’s been entertaining. I do think he should recruit some cohost and figure out how to do the show without relying on guest if he wants longevity.
The best podcasts out there don’t really need guests imo, and may bring them in occasionally. The ones that really on them always lose steam imo.
I hear what you're saying but dont really agree in tihs case. The formula works and the secret sauce is an open forum with guests. A couple one off episodes with just a host and cohost co work but in this particular instance I think guests make it work
Yes guests work in the beginning, however it only last so long. Are you even looking at this from a longevity perspective?

yeah you can only have so many guests until you run out of interesting guests. Ideally it's the host that should be the draw. I think that was the difference with Champion when Tech was alive, and Vada wasn't being exposed for being a weirdo.Their recaps and overall dynamic were interesting enough to make people tune in every ep, so they didn't need battlers for guests every week.

The new guys are corny, getting emotional acting like they're too big for the tournie. Man like Swamp, Ace, Kid Chaos need to tuck in their pride. $5k and legitimate exposure plus the opportunity to battle GOATs , you could catapult yourself to mid/top tier overnight, clown shyt

people get caught up in the moment. Yes it’s fresh and entertaining right now, but there’s only so many people you can interview and have discussions with within battle rap. You definitely don’t want guest to be the reason people tune into a show.

Surf completely hit it on the nail when he was talking about Jakkboy. He was saying how in the world does someone get to choke ON NOME and then open up the very next card FOR MURDA MOOK AND CHOKE AGAIN. At this point it's not even about jakkboy as a artist. It's a complete disrespect to the craft. People should be exiling jakkboy from battle rap at this point but we know he's gonna be on the next banned and the next one after that.
Let someone like Hitman had gone up to arsonal and got destroyed. That would of been the last time we would of saw him. The older generation not only made their own opportunities but took full advantage of it when it was in front of them.(JJDD vs Hitman, Cal vs Math and Lux etc Hell that entire 2 year killing spree Magic went on) The new guys are literally hand given opportunities (such as this tournament) and think they are are "too big" to do it just to go do a battle over at gates of the garden or verbal warzone.
