I’m from Maryland, granted the DC suburbs so I’m not an expert on the other side but

Roc is not from Baltimore

Not saying where he’s from is soft or even unaffiliated with bmore but I never even knew Harford County had rough areas before I heard of him

When Burke battled Ace and they were making fun of him for being from Hyattsville, if you’re from MD it was a huge :dwillhuh: angle because Ace’s ends are twice as known for activity than somewhere north of Annapolis where Cave is at

None of this is a big deal because i know what it’s like to be in NYC and people don’t know shyt about MD so you just say whatever but it’s different when you’re on cam yelling demanding folk come see you in a city you don’t live in

There was a recent interview on HHIR I think where Lux did defend mumble rap a little, too. That tells you alot more where his head is at.
He wasn't wrong but it also shows why he makes some of the music he does.

Oh I know...I'm not too far from Hyattsville myself (on the borderline of DC) and there are some nice parts of that area. Matter of fact, they been gentrifying like a muthafukka there now and it was already kinda nice lookin'. However, I remember my sister lived somewhere over in Hyattsville and it wasn't so nice. Like a small area so I could see Ace being from Hyattsville and getting into some shyt. I dunno. I feel like there's pockets of those areas where shyt gets crazy but its mostly in places like Congress Heights, Suitland, Forestville, certain parts of PG, and etc.
