I’ll give a listen but I hate Lux as an artist. He typically just chases trends and imitates whatever is hot.

He would have been a strong independent artist a long time ago if he just did hip hop shyt like the Griselda dudes.

There’s a lane for that type of hip hop and I can’t believe so many battle rappers neglected it to sounds like these clowns out here.

When I heard Lux doing that Migos flow on one of his joints I was like "Come on beloved, you don't need to do this"

It doesn't make sense. Most people turn to battle rap to hear shyt that's been lacking in music. How are you going to convert these battle rap fans you acclimated to fans of your music sounding like that?

The reason Surf is successful, because Tsu Surf the battler and Tsu Surf the artist aren't that different. If you like Surf as a battler, there's a good chance you'll like his music. Same with Aye Verb.

Lux's music is like the exact opposite of what he does on stage (with the exception of a few songs here & there).

Well, I think to an extent...this is all true. However, when Lux gives you certain kind of songs where he doesn't do that....










I feel like he does give you more of how he writes in a battle.
But yeah, there are songs where I see he is going way too much for the trend when he doesn't need to.
I still fux with him as an artist.

If Lux made more songs like Konfused and Cold Bleed he’d be in a much better position. But yeah he makes a lot of songs that are just following what’s hot. It’s kinda annoying. Because he has songs that are fire.

On a big stage in Philly I don't think Shotgun is going to lose to JC. Also, it seems like it's been a while since Shotgun actually won a solo battle so I think he'd be in his bag for this one.
