I have a hard time believing anyone would watch this battle ein 2019 and come to that conclusion.

If it's what you felt the very first time you watched the battle though, I could believe that.

Hollow had better moments. Bringing out Cal’s dad and the way he angled Lux’s rhymes stick out the most when you look back at the battle. But the more you watch it the more perfect Lux shyt sounds. Like holy shyt. Avo said it best, his actual rapping skill is just incredible to watch. I think I’ve given Hollow the second and thought the third was debatable but it’s a fukking 30 now.

Wow I didn't know that Surf picked Chess. now there's 100% no way in hell is Chess gonna screw up. Surf picking Chess as his replacement must've meant the world to Chess

what you're highlighting to me is how KOTD's best days were either when the guys you listed were new, or they were getting Smack battlers on cards

picture them taking a chubby guy with a nose ring and extended punchlines named TWORK and making him a national star. they cant do it, so they suffer. RBE is smart for being a "showcase for battlers" and then throwing dudes like J Murda a plate mid-card because he was around when they were a "battle league". even they need to give up this 1SK thing, the last 1SK battles i watched had Spanish Harlem and Buttah FDB, and both of them are currently on the URL app

Yeah I know but I brought up those heyday moments it stems from that. And the fact remains: we wouldn't have Pat Stay if it wasn't for KOTD. Even though he goes back past them being in a different league, but they really put him on the map. Or Charron, that kid basically grew up battling on that league. And Diz...I mean, he pretty much made KOTD what it was with the match ups he got on there. My point was, the older (mostly original) talent...at a point...they weren't being fostered enough except for a few names; thats why I brought those names ups. Newer talent, they had a good idea trying out shyt in Detroit with Gully doing the GZs and trying to get Saynt on; the problem was they did it either once or twice stopped.

Chess level of confidence now is pretty dope to watch. His second vs Jerry Wess was special. Poor Jakkboy :mjlol:

I’m giving Wess the third just because he didn’t deserve to be 30’d but Chess is on another level.

not a big fan of pat, charron, or diz personally :yeshrug:

Saynt is dope but like Franchise and Geechi, and ICE, is way out of place on KOTD, the crowds wait for Lush to flip out and then they react. the brand doesn't have its own identity and never really did, as many have pointed out, since it took over from Fresh Coast and rode that wave for a few years before paying smack battlers to show up

i hope organik has learned from this by now and comes with something new. sounds like his team was shyt too

Math's eps are usually 30 mins long...this one is over an hour long :laff: I wonder why :sas1:

Is he having issues with Cortez now too or was he referring to url at the beginning?

Also, we know if surf is battling or chess is staying as his replacement?

Crazy how much Lux influenced hollow after this. Kinda Dope to see. This battle is not close now. Lol
Hollow: “What y’all don’t know..
What Lux was sayin was HITTING me, cause it was TRUE in REAL LIFE.
Y’all don’t know the layers, but me and him know WHAT he was talkin about behind he scenes :damn:

The amount of times Hollow clarified the Truth Lux was spilling in between the bars :wow:
Lux 3-0 :ohlawd:
Both were super honorable towards eachother, getting into detail about the genius they both displayed :salute:
