So, it doesn't look like the Philly guys quite get it yet.
There are 7 threads involving Philly battlers on the 1st page. They are active again, it's cool to have them back. But it's clear at this point that they waited TOO LONG to come back.

How is it oversaturated when we in a crazy drought right now?

As I've stated - there are too many leagues, each has at least 5-6 battles on the card - and if you watch all of these battles, it gets kinda boring.

I agree and disagree. There is a ton of new talent coming and going, but that's a necessity. The pool of dudes who kept us entertained got older/unfocused/dated and too common. The new talent replenishes that, but only 10% of them actually shake out.

As for the idea that the URL 2 major cards a year, nah, I can't get with that... especially when the events started to come in at a solid B/B- and the talent was the from the same group of dudes. One of the best things that has happened in battlerap in the last 2 years is URL having these Born Legacy-type of events. Almost every last one of us in here are have money on someone being the "next-up," and like it or not, these hungry dudes are coming with more bars, aggression, performance, everything than the vets.

I agree to an extent. But the fact that the vets don't have the same aggression, performance etc...is because they battle too much. Take Rex, Math or Clips for example on one hand, and Lux or Mook on the other. The first three can't be consistent all the time, because it's not that easy to think of dope, complex bars all the time. Lux and Mook, partially Hollow, when they get to battle, they seem fresh and come with full ammo, good prep and their performance stands out. Maybe they battle on one card or two and that's it. If they battled every month on every league, their stock would fall.
