I don't think that's the reason. I think you're only saying that because you know he's a battle rapper. If you didn't know, you wouldn't assume he was one. Because nothing in his rhymes were battle rapper ish. The main problem they have is there's millions of rappers now. They still trying to get on the old fashioned way, and get someone to put them on. That shyt over with.

It's a double edge sword because someone like Verb actually has more fans than the average guy trying to grind independently, but the battle rap stigma makes it hard to transition that to musical achievements, the funny thing is that whole generalization with battle rappers not making good music came from people 10 -15 years ago not transitioning well in the music industry lol, in reality its like with any other group of rappers ,some good writers are also good entertainers and some aren't, it depends
