URL jacked that battle from KOTD. It was supposed to go down over there but Suge couldnt cross the border so Charron battled DNA instead.

And Charron kept calling Suge out. Even after the Arsonal incident. Remember he was calling him Shotgun Sugar t*ts.

URL knew it would be easy to book and already had decent demand/ momentum. It was also a good niche battle for them. So they made it happen. Remember it was the first battle they dropped from SM4/ SM4 warmup card. People wanted to see it.

Y'all be overthinking this sh1t sometimes. As much as I hate that Charron got a look on URL, it was a good crossover move for them. Frankly they should be bringing over more KOTD guys for one offs. No reason not to - they can parlay it into new followers. I think the two fan bases, while clearly distinctive, are less divided than it seems.

So bringing in the guy with the most viral round of the year for a one-off isn't a good look?

That said, I think some KOTD guys could do well on URL. Illmaculate and Fresco for example. It's a short list, but I think there's a few instances where we'd see the concept work

Not a fan of Pat Stay either, but he's another one that might make sense for a URL appearance. Pat Stay vs Calicoe on the main stage would have been nuts

One of the biggest problems I see with bringing KOTD talent over is those guys don't know how to work a stage. That's why Mike P. works and Rone doesn't. I doubt Illmac is a better fit than Rone or Charron. Diz was trying to work the stage, and he looked ridiculous.
I think the current PG system eliminates the need for bringing over KOTD talent. Outside of Pat & Daylyt, the remaining guys arent that popular. We already see URL kinda has the next Rone with Mike P and Glueazy is a poor man's Bigg K. Everyone with talent gets a PG now, so the next Illmac, Fresco or Pat Stay on the come up will get a PG. Look at Gjonaj, he is synonymous with KOTD, but Smack had him 1st.

Pat Stay was a better shot on that main stage BEFORE Cal took his dignity. And before Tay Roc was yelling out there "I'm not Pat Stay!" He wouldn't have a chance against anyone on Smack at this point, they'd essentially just go into bully mode knowing damn well Pat wouldn't do anything. I'd pay to see Suge in there with Pat though lol.

Oh yeah was in the building for Martial Law 2 event. JC vs Remy D was crazy. Better than Day vs Ill. Crowd kinda ruined Day vs Ill they were pretty biased. But this will play out like Day vs Verb. Ill in the building, Day on cam.

Yea I spoke with the big 4 (Remy, JC, Day, and Ill). All very cool and down to earth. Daylyt is absolutely hilarious.
