B Dot shouldn't have to do a PG to battle Saga. Saga is not that popular. To be be honest I haven't heard one person say they are looking forward to Saga battling anyone except B Dot. I have not seen anyone say they want to see Saga vs Verb or Saga vs TODD. There is no reason why this battle shouldn't happen on Born Legacy or be a One off. I thought the PGs were to get battlers names up. I can't think of one current URL PG that has a bigger name than B Dot. I don't consider guys like Ave, Mike P, or Tink PGs. It's not like people are saying put B Dot on the main stage.

The purpose of the PG's is to introduce that battler to the URL audience. The URL audience can spend up to $100 a ticket to get in the venue, so the audience needs to know who/what they are paying for. The URL has the gauge if the audience like that guy in the PG's to determine whether he should advance further.
You have to understand that the guys like us on the forums, groups, etc are the minority. There is a large audience that only watch the URL. Therefore, despite B Dot's solid views in a lower tier league, there are fans that have never heard of him. I will give you an example. QP (son) has been battling forever & has battles that have generated more views than B Dot's battles. He was on a podcast a couple years back. The major of the people that called in had NEVER heard of the guy. You literally have people that only watch the URL. Don't make any assumption that the casual URL fan knows who B Dot is. There have been non URL vets from other leagues that have been on "street" style podcasts & the fans didn't know them.
I think a fair compromise would be for BDot to sign a 3-4 battle contract with the condition that he will get a Saga battle. He can't come in, potentially beat the Saga, & just leave. That makes no sense for the URL.
I didn't watch CAPS blog. I normally don't comment on something I haven't watched, but the guy is proven to be so dumb, that I doubt he understands why the URL would not even allow the battle.
