Negus are just being contrarians. So URL wouldn't benefit from throwing a battle?
nikkas wouldn't pay to see Saga vs B Dot?
How did Charron/Suge benefit URL?How does B. Dot battling Saga without a PG (and potentially bodying him) benefit anyone BUT B. Dot? I don't see how that helps URL in any form.
I only wanna see him battle lux or bigg k
How did Charron/Suge benefit URL?
Lmfao cor ain't even ask the question
How did Charron/Suge benefit URL?
I had the better argument the whole time. Want to know why? Because its TH3 SAGA.For the most part it's a business move. Letting B Dot skip the line & bounce after battling Saga (who they have invested in) does nothing for them. It actually hurts their system. They are trying to have the game on lock, that's why they are bringing a lot of the guys who didn't quite make it, back in the platform. Now it's about fighting your way to the top of the foodchain.
Took you awhile, but you finally landed on a something that supports your argument.
Charron/Suge contradicts their business model. I bet they never make a battle like that again, Charron would have to be under contract.
The only excuse I can make for URL was that they had a crop of shytty PGs that year. So they might have needed Charron's name to sell that bootleg Summer Madness warmup card. Suge also wasn't held in high regard back then. That was the beginning of his 2nd URL run. URL is more invested in Saga than they were in Suge at that time.
Apparently he needs to battle Snake Eyez, Repah Rell and Bangz before he can get anyone he wants from NY now that SMACK owns their souls.Still don't get the bdot craze. Ny stage vs anyone who matters...he's losing. I hate y'all for liking him.
I don't completely disagree with you but I will challenge a few of your points. The purpose of the PG's is to introduce that battler to the URL audience. The URL audience can spend up to $100 a ticket to get in the venue, so the audience needs to know who/what they are paying for. The URL has the gauge if the audience like that guy in the PG's to determine whether he should advance further.
You have to understand that the guys like us on the forums, groups, etc are the minority. There is a large audience that only watch the URL. Therefore, despite B Dot's solid views in a lower tier league, there are fans that have never heard of him. I will give you an example. QP (son) has been battling forever & has battles that have generated more views than B Dot's battles. He was on a podcast a couple years back. The major of the people that called in had NEVER heard of the guy. You literally have people that only watch the URL. Don't make any assumption that the casual URL fan knows who B Dot is. There have been non URL vets from other leagues that have been on "street" style podcasts & the fans didn't know them.
I think a fair compromise would be for BDot to sign a 3-4 battle contract with the condition that he will get a Saga battle. He can't come in, potentially beat the Saga, & just leave. That makes no sense for the URL.
I didn't watch CAPS blog. I normally don't comment on something I haven't watched, but the guy is proven to be so dumb, that I doubt he understands why the URL would not even allow the battle.
