While other battle rappers carried the culture during the Youtube era, if it wasn't for Lux, you wouldn't even know a good portion of those people, since he put them on through the Lionz Den. He put on Surf, Roc, Goodz, Verb, Arsonal, etc...he pretty much kept street battles alive when Smack fell back for years. That's importance and influence and that's what Mount Rushmore is about. Mount Rushmore isn't for the 4 best presidents. It's for the 4 most impactful.

Lux is easily top 4 most important and influential figures in battle rap history.

I think you're putting way too much emphasis on wins and loses, mostly which are subjective. You mentioned Lux and Hollow losing to Roc and Chess on a 2 on 2 as evidence of him not being Mount Rushmore. First off, that's 100% a minority held opinion that you stated as if it were a fact and secondly, even if that was/is the case, that's a very immaterial point to a Mount Rushmore argument. I think you're conflating GOAT conversation with MR.

If you watch the battle and listen to all the shyt Lux was sayin.
He attacked Clips from so many angles man
He had shyt for the streetnikkas in Harlem
He had shyt for the battlerap fans that like exposals
He had shyt for the battlerap fans that like lyricism

How Clips responded to that 3rd after the exposal was the nail in the coffin
