So the movie is trash? I was gonna see it this weekend but everyone says it's terrible and I ain't about to read 292 pages. What is the coli opinion? Cause I'm leanin toward waiting til it's on hbo on a lazy Saturday a year from now.

I actually saw BvS opening day with my older brother. If you like Man of Steel then you will enjoy this film. Only real problem I had was that it felt very thrown together. There were a lot of great scenes (like the "Knightmare" scene) but they feel out of place in the film and I imagine that people unfamiliar with comics, or even the cartoon, won't get many of the things referenced here.

saw it today was very disappointed as a comic fan movie was a let down Christian bale shoulda been the bat movie was all over the place and was not enough action I will appraise the cinematics but overall movie was. Very boring and bland

I do like DC over Marvel but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate when Marvel does something right. Other than this, Avengers was the only movie I saw twice in theatres.

No. They are now writing about him being considered "dangerous". He wasn't outchea just solving and fighting crime anymore.....he was torturing criminals now. He was becoming more like them. That is what they were writing about. Not him being batman.

Not only that Supes has been doing mad good deeds for strangers. Salty old Bats is like not good enough.

You have to crack the riddle of his psyche by pure accident in order to stop Bats' murderous rage.

they really made Superman look like a dumbass walking into Batman traps like a moron. they need to fire Snyder and get a director who actually has respect for Superman.

He didn't just walk into batman's traps tho, he wasn't even trying to fight batman.

First thing he did was try to talk to him and even after batman attacked him, he only reacted in self defense. Also, superman didn't think batman had the means to any to harm him. He didn't know about the Kryptonite existence, even if he knew it could be a trap, he assumed nothing that a human could throw at him could harm him.

That fight happened just like it would in the comics, what made u think superman was gonna straight up fight a human?

I said that in my question. I get the motivation. My issue is with the destruction in MOS he was fighting Zod and defending earth. Chalk that up to collateral damage. It's not like he destroyed the city fighting the Joker. As long as Superman is in check they're fine. Batman launching a preemptive strike was short sighted. If Superman was dead and Doomsday popped up who was going to stop him? Superman is too valuable to kill.

And who does that?

Godzilla comes out the water every once oin a while and defends Tokyo from other monsters, but Godzilla is still a monster that no one can control or stop

In Goyer's script it was Brainiac who did it. I don't know if this was changed or not, guess we'll find out with the Director's Cut
