So this Batman has been doing this shyt for YEARS and just now they make it a big thing in Metropolis? A city that is separated from Gotham by like a half a mile and they're just NOW writing about it?

I'm thinking that the thought process was that this incarnation of Batman has been "in the shadows" most of these years. Low key and undercover, not to say they haven't been writing about him but remember Clark's complaint was "The Gotham police aren't even investigating him, their HELPING him". So really it's CLARK that's making a big deal out of it, everybody else is pretty much about it because he's catching criminals and if Gotham don't give a fukk why should they?

One of my favorite moments of the movie.

The way Batman said "Martha won't die tonight" or "I won't let Martha die tonight" it was almost like, his mom died and he couldn't do much as a kid, but as a man, as Batman he could finally save Martha.

A small detail, that's how I saw it. I was like "Go get her Bruce!"
