curious to see the directors cut feel like theatrical cut was edited poorly

If Watchmen is any hint.... probably vastly superior. This is why I withheld judgement over editing miscues knowing that it's not even what Snyder fully wanted and how the theatrical cut of Watchmen had that same identical issue.

Here is a legit debate.

Did Nolan have better car chase scenes :jbhmm:

I thought the Joker chase scene was dope :manny:

The Batmobile/truck chase in TDK was miles ahead of the Batmobile chase in this movie. shyt looked like Michael Bay took over direction for that shyt with all the annoying close-ups, cuts and lens flares.

Basically fans of batman love the movie... Superman fans hate it

I cant speak for others, but i'm a superman fan and I think this movie is fukking amazing...it's not a superman only film, it's s jl setup, so everyone getting shine is cool with me....speaking about superman specifically: as long as they did the character right and started to get to the established character we know, I was gonna be good...and that's what they did...

besides: most of jl shyt is tied to superman, including doomsday, darkseid and brainiac....so he always gonna get his chance to shine no matter what....

I'm still waiting on receipts for this
Jesse Eisenberg not playing Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman

One of DC's quintessential villains isn't actually in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceafter all.

In a recent tweet from a new account promoting the film, Jesse Eisenberg's character — Alexander Joseph Luthor Jr. —refers to his father after replying to a fictional Fortune Magazine article confirming he's actually the son of Lex Luthor, who died in 2000.

The LexCorp "sponsored article" defines the new heir as "a 31-year-old wunderkind" who managed to build upon his father's aging corporation and turn it into, "a tech darling of the Fortune 500 in what some call a superhuman feat."

As the article goes on, it becomes pretty apparent that Eisenberg will be playing a more conniving version of his Mark Zuckerberg portrayal in David Fincher's The Social Network.

Described as a, "jeans-wearing genius" and "baby faced billionaire," the newest Luthor will also apparently be a coding genius in the film.

His description as a computer wizard does raise questions about whether hacking will play a role in Batman v Superman, and if advanced weapons like drones will make an appearance in the film.

The article also specifies that under the guidance of the younger Luthor, LexCorp has become one of the biggest technology companies in the world, third only to Bruce Wayne's Wayne Enterprises and Kord Industries (the corporation run by Ted Kord, who readers might know as the superhero Blue Beetle).

Considering that pits Luthor and Wayne against each other, it's pretty safe to assume there will be a few tete-a-tete meetings between the two heirs before any of the costumed battles take place.

According to the Fortune article, the main difference between Wayne's company in the film and Luthor's is the latter's military contract. While Wayne has apparently backed away from working on technology for the government for ethical reasons, Luthor has picked up as many contracts as he can.

"Statistically speaking, it's a near certainty that another world-changing crisis is hurtling toward us like a speeding bullet," Luthor told the magazine ominously, alluding to the events in Man of Steel. "We have to be ready to defend ourselves."

The glowing profile piece ends by calling Luthor, "a man of tomorrow" and notes how lucky the world is to have him on the right side of evil.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to be released on Mar. 25, 2016. Watch the trailer for the movie below:

superman hides his identity with a pair of glasses and nobody in the entire movie recognizes him. your point is moot.

he was invented to capture the imagination of children, like santa claus. deal with it.

Didnt i say that they're fictional characters? We know that & its a movie so everything is fictional. You're nit-picking.

It's still about the STORY, right? So okay, because he wears glasses and yada yada yada that means we shouldnt have a script dealing with actual mature content instead of just cartoon? Makes no sense.

They're supposed to represent superheroes still. You mean to tell me you WANT to see superheros literally save cats from trees while they make goofy jokes in a movie? That would make it more GOOD to you?

Wtf you talking about? I think you pick the wrong one, i havent been in this thread alot and i aint on no "DC vs Marvel" thing at all. Like i said im just a general fan. So i dont know what you yapping about.

And my point had NOTHING to do with the critics of the movie, my point was to the people saying "where's the fun in the movie?" or "its so dark and depressing"..

So :camby:

In the movie he keeps talking about his father in the past tense so he's probably dead (possibly killed him?). Also, if they were actually going to bring in Lex Luthor Sr there's no reason for Jr to go bald, is there?:jbhmm:
I don't know, I just remember when the article came out and wanted to answer dude's question. Not sure why they would bother making this Luthor's son, honestly. Possibly an excuse to go their own direction with the character instead of being bound to the iconic villain. Maybe the bald look is an homage?

I haven't seen the movie yet:yeshrug:

I thought MoS was very mediocre, and the sentiment seems to be that this film is even worse. I think I'll wait for a good torrent. :manny:
