was he possessed by the spirit of Heath Ledger

But the script doesn't portray Lex as cool. He's portrayed as awkward and mentally unwell, which is what Jesse did. He was nothing like Ledger.

I swear every villain gets compared to Heath now, even when they're nothing alike.

The huge debut runs counter to terrible reviews for the Zack Snyder-directed film, branded with a weak 29% positive critical score on RottenTomatoes.com. Audiences gave it a B grade on CinemaScore.
