I gotta disagree. This movie did what your saying very poorly. Batman and Superman never really interacted on a philosophical level. They tried to set it up like that with the convo Bruce and Clark had at Lex's Party but it never follows through and eventually they just end up fighting because of the BS Lex was feeding them.
Edit: If Batman and Superman continued that dialogue somewhere during their fight than I would agree. Them having a verbal fight alongside the physical one about how they believe justice should be served or whatever would have made the dispute more believable. And that was a major missed opportunity. The lack of dialogue between the two during the actual fight was disappointing.
i disagree...they set it up very well...the thing is they didn't just use batman/superman talking to each other to show the difference/ VS in thinking/philosophies....they used everyone in the movie to show the differences....superman talking to people about what he should do/be was showing the difference...batman talking to alferd was showing the difference....even their actions (including during their fight) were showing the differences....seriously, they did a hell of a job putting it in....
....if you like the movie, go see it again, and just pay attention to the lil details, you'll see what i'm talking about....
