I saw it at the IMAX now I can finally discuss the actual movie with people. First of all, I think if someone were to say this is a 10/10 that is doing way too much. It's not a great movie but it's also not a horrible movie. I'd have it somewhere in the middle.

The reason it's not great is because of pacing issues and parts that either should have been cut or expanded on. There was no reason for them to try to do so much.

I'll start with the bad. Jesse Eisenberg's performance was not bad but he is in no way Lex Luthor. If they would have had him be some other random character fine but as Lex Luthor no way. That said, he got a lot of laughter out of people like with the hard candy joke, people were laughing and shyt. Very weird. I think if people don't care about Lex Luthor they might actually like this character but I didn't.

I also thought Superman wasn't given much to do. His fight sequences were all tremendous but his dialogue was pretty crappy.

Wonder Woman was great. It's basically a cameo for Gal Gadot but her one scene at the dinner party with Bruce was good and her fighting scene was :whoo: status..

Batman was all around great. People keep saying he was killin nikkas but not really. They are confusing the nightmare sequences with what was actually going on. In the streets he was fukking people up for sure but he wasn't killing. He was breaking limbs tho. Best Fight scenes out of Batman in a move ever. Affleck was a good Bruce Wayne too. I would probably put Keaton above him as a Bruce but overall Affleck was really good.

Fine acting performances out of Amy Addams, Jeremy Irons and Laurence Fishburne.

Now let's get to the fight with Doomsday. Holy fukk that was really good. Doomsday was a dangerous motherfukker :damn :damn:

When Superman was fighting him in space :whoo:

Batman whizzing around and Wonder Woman's swordplay :whew:

The ending was really weird. I'll put this in spoilers. It's not that I hated the ending but:

Why even have Superman die in the fight if it was basically just a long coma? lol The dirt moves. He's fine folks. He ain't fukkin dead like the idiots like Cat Piss said

This is not a perfect movie by any means but the critics were overly harsh. There are not plot holes. If so, name one. The story made perfect sense. It wasn't the greatest story they could have told but it did make perfect sense.

And all the shyt referencing Darkseid. goddamn when he shows up :myman: motherfukkers better know...

Wow. So much love. My gf who rocks with me through all this superhero shyt (we binging DD S2 starting tomorrow) fell asleep.

That first hour was rough.

I won't bore you with a buncha observatiins. I will just say: it's like the premise was "what if Batman and Superman were real... and it was a horrible horrible thing".

I will say simply: I didn't see the "real" Bats or Super. Couldn't get behind these versions.

Wondy made me feel like I was finally seeing the "real" one. Of course she is ruthless in the comics. Not bloodthirsty, but who carries a sword if they not gonna chop a niqqa here and there.

Flash. No. Just...

Edit: almost forgot: three mics. Two of them for the fights alone.

One more thing. Why the fukk are nikkas saying this is humorless? The first hour is all about the tragedy and shyt but once things get rolling, it's a fun ride. The audience was LAUGHING multiple times during the final hour with the little cracks Bruce was throwing out there and when Wonder Woman showed up in costume the place went HAM... motherfukkers really love Wonder Woman, man.. I like her too but that theater was lit when she came out. :leon:

Apparently I'm the only one that liked Eisenbergs Luthor? For what he was, dude was cold as shyt. Absolutely insane. Skiddish. fukking weird. When he gave that speech and cut himself short about knowledge and power and people were like :what: I loved it. Very different take on the character but I loved it. Amidst all the meta human bravado you had this twerp trying to get at them. It worked well to me.

Outside of that, now that I can form words, again, fukkin loved it. Bats in the desert in cammo that vision he had was a dope look. WW really did her thing and the audience ate it up. Affleck in general killed it. I've never been a big Superman fan but seeing the tension between them on screen was dope af. The view of the other metas...dope af. Great action, Doomsday was legit and when that dirt rose...:banderas:

This was truly a set up for what's to come and really well done. If this shyt seriously has an extended version I'm copping off gp. Loved it. And in Imax 3D no less :banderas:
I actually get the Lex bit.

I saw what they're trying to do. Technically, this was Alexandor Luthor.. I think his dad was Lex and named Lexcorp. His dad was supposedly the diabolical one.

I liked that scene you mentioned. One of the few things I did like. It showed he was batshyt crazy BUT that shyt on the roof was like some Joker/Riddler thing. Maybe they wanted him to be weird but he wasn't necessarily scary. It was more... Annoying. Like that weird lol a$$hole in school that you want to punch in the face.

And those sounds he made were just zesty af

He actually reminded me of this fakkit when I was in bootcamp. This nerdy, weird, literal fakkit that would try you until you punked his ass.

Just saw it, could definitely say if you didn't like MOS at all then you're not going to like this. It's Synder/Goyer at his best/worst.

batfleck stole the show, dude was the batman I been waiting for, arkham fight scenes and everything.:blessed:

Wonder Woman was just meh to me after her initial entrance, but they really didn't build too much on her character at all.

The pacing and editing wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, considering the critics. You can tell they chopped a good amount out, but save for a scene or too, it didn't take away from the story.

Superman was still kinda meh, character wise. Like didn't we already go through this with MOS.:francis: And the moving felt pretty biased against him
save for the ending
I will say at least they got his takeoff right, really felt like superman coming and going as far as flying goes.

Jesse Eisenberg as Lex was just not a good fit at all IMO I rather see him be the riddler or something.
Also at the end of the movie it hints that he knows about Darkseid. How does he know?:mindblown: Did he have a line before and I just missed it or did he get something from the kryptonian database?

Like how they dropped some of the easter eggs during the movie, although one was kind of blatant.

Overall, enjoyed it, felt like it still had some of the same issues as MOS (due to Synder), but it isn't no where as bad the critics rated it, they must really hate Synder or Warner or something.:mindblown:

It's not as bad as the critics were saying but I wasn't completely enthralled. I just think it was too much jammed in and outside of wonder woman I had fault with the other actors. I know I'll prob get neg but:yeshrug:

He knows because of the Kryptonian ship and all its information.

I don't get why it's so fukking Hard to make a great Superman film. The Original Spider-man should be the blueprint for a Superman film. Tons of Heroic shyt. People in awe. Shots of American Flags multiple times. American military kicking the terrorist ass and being a global force of good. Basically JL and JLU Superman.
It wasn't hard. They made a pretty good one in MOS.

I don't want to see Superman flying around cracking jokes. Sorry...

for real.. i walked into this theater expecting a horribly edited movie that was all over the place

it doesn't take rocket science to piece this sh*t together

GREAT movie
Those reviews seem so biased , because they want one version of superman and this isn't it it so it sucks? My only complaint was
flash armor
