Well since the two previous versions of Batman killed people I don't doubt this one will too
People will accept Batman killing easily

I mean that sounds like the Dark Knight Returns which is a big inspiration for the movie they even copied Batmans costume. He was teetering near the line with the vigilantism in that comic lol. Plus it's easier for the audience to see why Superman wants to bring Batman to Justice if he's branded criminals with his symbol.
