Best scene IMO in the burton films. That one scene says so many things about Bruce Wayne. Dude just sitting in a room with no lights on like he have no purpose in life, untill that bat signal lights up

:what: there's marvel TV show in its 2nd season that takes place 60 years before Ironman. Capt first place took place 60years before Ironman..... This is on top of the 8 or so films tv shows that have done massive world building, past and present.

There's only been one DC universe film or tvshow. Wtf are talmbout. And from the looks of it, everyone is coming out if the woodwork because of what happened in Man Steel. In Ironman and most marvel films, they elluded to other comic fukkery. Marvel literally paved the way for this type of story telling, no Stan.

I agree. Marvel is doing a lot of world building also. But the approach that DC is doing allows them to gain traction on the depth of their Universe in a way that feels natural. That 40 sec Metropolis ad basically fills in the blank space in between MoS and BvS on how Metropolis recovered and the Gotham one basically tells you the current state of Gotham and a hint at its unstable past. All done in such a clever way that engages the audience and makes 2 fictional cities seem more real than the MCu's New York.

Metropolis a fake city is realer than New York City a real city due to a TV spot? Wow.

Saw that eisenberg commerical and it was trash

Dude will undoubtedly be the worse lex luthor EVER

That shytty wig, his lack of presence, just not believable at all

I think clancy brown, even at 70 could do a better job than eisenberg
Lets just hope the batman piff can balance out the Eisenberg trash

Antman fukking started off with the past fukkery involving the universe

Iron man 2 was basically based off the past and his daddys technology :dead:

I don't do the petty back and forths man. Unless you got something insightful to say, possibly from another perspective, lets stay on topic.

Ya'll aint hearing me, which is fine. You have your point of view and I have mine. I believe DC is taking a very unconventional approach compared to Marvel in building their universe and making it feel lived in. The fact that DC's universe is starting to feel just as rich and vast 2 movies in as Marvel's 10+ movies was one of the first and major criticisms DC had when they got into the game as far as playing "catch-up" and they're on their way to tackling those criticisms head on.

If you want to see the big difference that I see in the two universes just look at how both reacted to an alien invasion. Not just the heroes/ones involved but the universe as a whole.

Middle Earth and the world of Harry Potter felt immersive because the worlds were almost a character in itself and they showed you that even the lowest of peasants and the weakest of wizards can convey the gravity of the events that were surrounding them. I'm not getting that from the MCU.

Why was it petty? I questioned how a real place is not measuring up to a fake one. I was just disagreeing with you.
