Dr. Manhattan was joking when he fukked his chic w/multiple hims? Wow, that's a huge reach my G. It may have been a point of laughter for the audience but he was not joking in any way the joke I pointed out is purposeful joke telling in a moment of extreme crisis. Huge difference than most of these instances.

None of those scenes in BvS trailer were funny or jokes either... Especially none of the Lex ones.

'Strong grip don't pick a fight with this person.' is not a joke? I obviously disagree. 'I thought she was with you?' Isn't a joke either? They are said only to be humorous. Dr. Manhattan wasn't trying to be humorous having sex with Silk Spectre he was trying nut and work at the same time. That's it.

Because as far as I know, the people who wanted it "lighter" and the people who like it "darker" are two separate camps.

The people who like a bunch of corny goofy jokey shyt in their movies got what they wanted with this trailer.

the proof is in the threads....the majority of the same people post in the comic book movie threads....go through the MoS and the beginning of tis thread...you will see people say how MoS and the initial trailer for this was 'too dark & serious, trying to be like nolan', and that it needed to be more fun...that superman isn't 'dark' (which seems to be the only word they know) like batman and needs to be lighter......now, after this trailer dropped, some of those same people are now saying 'they trying to be marvel like' and 'it looks goofy with the jokes, I wanted a more serious movie'....which shows no matter what the studio puts out, people aren't gonna be happy and find a reason to complain....at this point, I've said fukk it and just accept people like to complain to complain....

as for the corny goofy jokey shyt in this trailer, there is only 1 character doing it and that seems to be a front by him to keep people from knowing his true intentions....but to hear you and others tell it, everyone was cracking jokes the majority of the trailer, when that's not the case...

...in the end, it's whatever...like I've said: i'm done with this thread till after th movie comes out in march....have a good one....

If you thought that was a funny joke you got issues.

And again, that Dr. Manhattan was meant to be funny. There was no way anyone wouldn't laugh at him supposedly pleasuring his chick only to find out he was doing like 6 other things at the same time.

Rorschach also had funny scenes. Usually banter but when he said to the therapist he doesn't like him because he's fat. Or the whole prison scene with the midget and the fat dude losing his arms.


And you only keep getting stuck on this one funny instance when I clearly listed others in every movie and even said there was ones I forgot

Trailer was aight but did too fukking much.

Comic con trailers were perfect. In this they basically showed what will definitely happen in every act of the entire movie, just not how it happens.. Like the movie been out for months already.

That's vague as shyt. Name names. Cuz I don't know one Coli breh that said MOS or TDK was too dark and is now backpedaling and saying shyt is too jokey now.

I know I think this trailer is corny as fukk, but I never said anything about the previous DC movies being too "dark".

Lex was a little too "Jokerish" for my liking. I'm probably spoiled by the DCAU version which was amazing

He was nothing like the Joker.

I swear any villain that is in any way whimsical gets compared to the Joker now.

Problem for me is that he was still goofy as fukk in the part with Lois and the "devil will do it" line

Bootleg Michael Cera was never who I envisioned as Lex Luthor, but I understand the angle they're going with, and I still hope it works in the movie

With Lex it's best to compare him to how billionaires are today in 2015. Mark of facebook and others like look as non threatening and goofy. The difference is Lex is just pretending and is really a genius with mad scientist thrown in also. We have to see the full movie and not just random spliced together scenes.

I'm looking forward to the scenes with them as Bruce and Clark more than the fight I enjoyed that ideal and psychological battle. DC has always been great at that. I'm also pretty sure that that scene with all three of them they are already aware of their secret identities but, don't know that they all know.

Kinda sad the best live action Lex Luthor is still Michael Rosenbaum's from Smallville.

John Shea from Lois and Clark is the best Lex Luthor for me.
