Charisma breh? Idk. I feel like that's a bit much. He's a cool dude and all but I never get the sense that he's charismatic at all. Maybe that's because he's with Flash and other characters in the group who do have some charisma to them. But charismatic isn't a word I'd ever use to describe superman

have you seen donner's superman? how would you describe reeve's superman?

yea humorous... as in not a lifeless stiff. see superman returns and man of steel.

in the donner movies and in TAS the character actually has a pulse. he has charisma.

to this day people still know the name christopher reeve. not because he was an A list hollywood movie star but because he was iconic in his portrayal of superman. I don't know what version of the character you guys prefer, but that is the version the general public loves and admires. that is the classic superman. the golden and silver age superman.

brandon routh was a shy faq in cosplay. no one bought him as superman. flopped out the gate never to be heard from again. henry cavill literally just played the character on the big screen and he's still a relative nobody. I don't know what else to say. The lifeless superman that doesn't smile and doesn't talk just doesn't resonate. even the most die hard MOS fans admit their favorite part was the action.

You spit so much nonsense it's not funny anymore. Golden age superman? The same golden superman that was a cold blooded psychopath?

:coffee: Kinda insulted you have to ask if I've seen Donner's superman breh:brehyourejoking:

I'd describe him as a boy scout and all that entails: He's a good dude, always trying and wanting to do the right thing and heroic. That's it. But charismatic isn't it. Because he smiles and winks that means he's got charisma? Well I guess Spike's got charisma too:soomad:

perhaps you just have a warped definition of charisma?

reeve's charisma and charm is precisely the reason why he was iconic in the role. his smile literally lit up the screen.

No I don't have a warped definition of it, I just don't believe that it comes from a simple smile and wink breh. And I also don't think charm is synonymous with charisma since I said he can be charming, but I'm not relying on Reeve's interpretation of superman since I know he added more to it than was in the comics.

there has to be a reason for lois lane to be head over heels in love with this guy. he's big, strong, alpha, fearless, protective, a gentleman... all in one.

...and New Era better have some Piff 59Fifty Hats out before the Movie drops. They're going all out for Star Wars and have done th e same for Marvel so I expect nothing but :banderas: Greatness Merchant for Batman V Superman.

Figured you'd have them for free breh? Or you could run up on someone in Gotham and just take them

Well that's the question thats always been there about Lois: Is she into him because he's got this "great personality" or just because he's big and strong and powerful?

It still kills me when debating Superman on this board that some people act like there's only two characterizations in Superman's entire history, like if you don't like Man Of Steel Supes you must want Donner Supes. Hell, literally this very week DC dropped the first issue of the Superman: American Alien series that presented us with yet another young Clark Kent origin story fresher and more fitting for a modern Superman than Man Of Steel will ever be.
