To be fair the most recent debate is centered on @Kill Dat Noize pointing to the Donner/Reeves Superman as the defining one.It still kills me when debating Superman on this board that some people act like there's only two characterizations in Superman's entire history, like if you don't like Man Of Steel Supes you must want Donner Supes. Hell, literally this very week DC dropped the first issue of the Superman: American Alien series that presented us with yet another young Clark Kent origin story fresher and more fitting for a modern Superman than Man Of Steel will ever be.
The current comic book version of Dr. Fate is of Arab descent.Wonder woman set photo
Also in an interview dude on the left, Said Taghmaoui revealed hes playing a superhero, his casting was a 3 month process and was with intense physical strengthing....im thinking....who could he be maybe hawkman or dr.fate.
ALso its been confirmed the cinematographer is the one form interstellar and spectre
Part of it is set in the past then it jumps to the current time. But isnt this movie set in the 40s

first of all i just wanted to say that i do not need my superman defined by christopher reeve, he just happen to deliver a perfect performance. singer and routh's superman might have bared visual resemblance but he was completely lacking in every other category. he wasn't fun to be around, he didn't have a larger than life presence, he wasn't charming or humorous... it was like he was a completely different character. he barely even talked or showed any personality. what did lois ever see in this guy?
plus what WAS that movie? a sequel to superman 2? a reboot? what YEAR is it? why does everything look retro? is it an homage to the silver age superman? what the fukk is going on?
i don't see how you can call superman returns "classic" superman. i am more famous than brandon routh.
yea humorous... as in not a lifeless stiff. see superman returns and man of steel.
in the donner movies and in TAS the character actually has a pulse. he has charisma.
to this day people still know the name christopher reeve. not because he was an A list hollywood movie star but because he was iconic in his portrayal of superman. I don't know what version of the character you guys prefer, but that is the version the general public loves and admires. that is the classic superman. the golden and silver age superman.
brandon routh was a shy faq in cosplay. no one bought him as superman. flopped out the gate never to be heard from again. henry cavill literally just played the character on the big screen and he's still a relative nobody. I don't know what else to say. The lifeless superman that doesn't smile and doesn't talk just doesn't resonate. even the most die hard MOS fans admit their favorite part was the action.
have you seen donner's superman? how would you describe reeve's superman?
perhaps you just have a warped definition of charisma?
reeve's charisma and charm is precisely the reason why he was iconic in the role. his smile literally lit up the screen.
watch donner's superman.
Aside from the brain dead part, I agreeCan we stop talking about that brain dead cracker vegetable? Henry cavili is superman now, deal with it

I'm not going to shyt on the dead like that but you're right: It is what it is at this point, either you rock with it or you don't rock at all
