i really don't think the "point" has been made clear yet, if there is even one. we won't know until we see the movie.

i really just think it's because everyone worships frank miller. i really do. i could see snyder just looking at DKR and saying "i want THAT".

You don't need to see the movie to understand why Batman has muscles..

And you just answered you own question...

Dent was black in Batman (1989). But really many of these characters have had so many different iterations all I want is their core attributes in tact and a fresh story.

And BTAS was loosely based on burton's universe. There fore Harvey dent was black :blessed:

Chris Pine Reportedly Signs On As Steve Trevor For Wonder Woman

Chris Pine has reportedly signed on to play Steve Trevor in Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman film.

Rumors circulated earlier this summer that Pine might play Wonder Woman’s love interest in the upcoming film, but were quickly replaced with other rumors saying that he was actually a candidate for Green Lantern Corp. But according to The Wrap, who cites an inside tip, Pine has indeed landed on Themyscira—just like in the comics.

The report also claims that Pine has agreed to a multi-picture deal with Warner Bros., meaning that he could appear in Wonder Woman sequels and other DC Cinematic Universe films. In the DC Comics, Trevor is sometimes used as a connective tissue between various Justice League characters and DC’s SHIELD equivalent, ARGUS. So, Warner Bros. could have plans to make Pine's Trevor the answer to Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury in the Marvel movies.

Do you want to see Chris Pine as Steve Trevor? Sad that he's not a Green Lantern? Let us know in the comments.

Wonder Woman hits theaters on June 24, 2017. And to see where else Pine may show up as Steve Trevor, head to ComicBook.com's Comic Book Movie Database!

I kind of thought Superman was asian

hqdefault.jpg

i personally always liked superhero films better in animation form, the JL/JLU, Superman TAS and Batman TAS was always cool for drawing certain characters out of the prototypical look

me and my homie always felt superman came off "racially ambigious" on some native american/asian/mixed shyt, tho that could just be the minority in us tryna project things lol ... i always felt that made more sense for an alien from outerspace who is sposed to represent the pinnacle of human morality anyways, i know its a comic and all but why would he end up looking exactly like one human race :mjpls:

same with how they drew lex who many here have thought was black

Me and all my homies thought he was black. I didn't even think it was a debate.

they drew the animation vague enough for minorities to put or see ourselves in those characters, which is dope because especially back then most superheroes were clearly drawn white ... (which i understand), but this way makes it more enjoyable for everyone across the board imo :manny:. it may not/prolly wasnt even be their intention but clearly a lot of us perceived it that way
