He wasn't "just looking for a ship"
He was wrecked with guilt after watching his dad die when he could have saved him, no matter how many lives he saves he let his dad die.

he was just a lost dude until he overheard those army guys talking about the crash site

I'm starting to like MOS more and more, might be the goat super hero movie rite now, the cinamatography, the fight scenes

Whoever played general zod killed that role :ohlawd:

zod did a great job. better than any shytty marvel villain. This is why i want no name actors getting big roles b/c they are passionate with that shyt like finn in tfa. I feel like dc does a bad job portraying the person/alien behind the suit. Robert downey is toney stark, chris evans plays a good steve rogers, but we've gotten shytty bruce waynes and clark kent from dc.

Finally saw this
9v4zte8lg953pcd8rf77t54vm.300x225x25.gif

pros
Better than MoS
Batman and Wonder Woman were pretty good, as was Alfred.
Action towards then end was good
At least the fought in a abandoned part of town instead of in the heart of a densely populated city this time.
I thought everybody turned in solid performances.

Cons
It takes a looonnnnnggggg time for them to fight
Fight was too short
I chalk Lex up to bad characterization rather than acting, cause that was no lex i've ever seen. I actually believe he was originally going to be Riddler.
The end to the fight was
Jb0D3bs.png

Too many damn flashback. Why do we need flashbacks to stuff that happened a hour before in the movie? Also fairly sure newborns know batman's parents died.
Jb0D3bs.png
at Batman saying he was a friend of Superman when rescueing Martha Kent. You were about stab and kill him not even 10 minutes ago
drizzy_zpsb6364c25.png

Darkseid/evil superman/flash sequence was just weird.
Can't do with Batman killing people.
Killing Superman should have been kept till later on.

There were other things i didn't really like, but those were the main ones.

I think Eisenberg's Luthor is not the Luthor we all know and "love." Either he's a clone like in the Superman comics of the late 80's/early 90's that is being used to act as Luthor's son or he is his legitimate son and we'll get the OG/real Lex down the road.

Like i said, Eisenberg would have made a nice riddler, but that was no Lex i've ever seen

i dont have a problem with movie companies doing new takes on characters. its a nice change up. but its just this characterization was trash. in the grim, bleak universe they created, he comes off as a parody. he's also annoying and his motivations are not explained. i understand the route they tried to go with a more "modern" take on lex but it just doesnt work at all for this movie or universe

A more modern Lex would be fine, but you're right with the characterization being trash and not working in this universe. This universe is pretty bleak and dark, so he's pretty out of place.

Saw it yesterday, I liked it.:ehh:

Dialogue was clunky at times, it was dark af and loooooong but I overall enjoyed. Batman, dope. Wonder Woman, dope. The set up for Justice League, dope. Lex Luthor, obvious he has aspergers or some type of neurological issue. The psychology of Superman was great. I might even see it again online. Now to look back at all these pages to see why y'all didn't like it.

EDIT: Lois was mishandled in this. She played damsel in distress too many times.

MOS was leagues ahead of this movie. At least MOS had great action pieces, a booming, epic score and a cohorent story to return to....not to mention Faora :noah:

I have no desire to watch BvS again. What a waste smh.

when a melissa mccarthy movies opening week outsells the third week of your flagship movie, someone didnt do their job

the studios goal was not to scrape to 1 billion dollars with the properties they have under their control and the money/time they invested into this project
Or does Melissa McCarthy have that much star power? :sas2:

Snyder explains the ending to Batman V Superman

Spoilers:

Basically the end of Batman V Superman , Superman is dead , but as he is in his coffin , some dirt rises off his grave. This confused some people so Snyder explained.

"The reason I wanted to do it the way we did it is because I don't want the audience completely off the hook with it. They still have to go like, 'What the f*ck? Are you kidding me?' There's a way to signal towards a more definitive resurrection concept, but I didn't wanna do that because I want that to be real for them when they see it, I want the experience to be real and then the sort of need to be real later on. Suffice it to say there is a plan, but . . . you need to wait and see."

Will Superman Appear in the Justice League Films?

Movie was solid to me.
My only complaints were the slow start and my biggest complaint is the dude who played Lex. Not a big fan at all. He pretty much plays the same character in every film I see him in Sarcastic and arrogant and feels he is all knowing (Social Network, Now S vs. Batman).
That isn't Lex Luthor. I'm still trying to figure out who the hell that character was because that was just a poorly portrayed Lex.

And the actress who plays Wonder Woman :noah:
