Finished watching it again last nite. Only my second viewing.
The tonal switches from serious to joking and back and forth was handled as well as anyone could expect. And I didn't notice my first viewing but the music in this movie is great.
The first half is kinda disjointed but once you get into the second hour this movie takes off! It really is a great accomplishment. The ending is really everything. They truly treat Thanos like a protagonist who faced great odds but gave up everything to win. I'm really curious how they even start A4.

The movie is 2 1/2 hours and i felt like it should've been structured like

Hour 1: Everyone is scattered and trying to meet up
Hour 2: Everyone meets up and strategize to beat Thanos
Last half hour: Battle in Wakanda

They also shouldn't have made A4 a year away and scheduled it for a X-mas release.

They got plans to release two movies in-between A3 and A4 so a Christmas time release would not work.

I’m just amazed it literally was almost non stop action. It really was a great movie I love how well they handled Thanos. If you watch the second half of the movie and picture Thanos as the hero it is amazing. Like even shots when he’s talking with strange and thinks he is by himself and quill is around the corner smirking it seems like he is the bad guy/a lurking henchman :salute: russos

I dont think your structure fits well with the feeling the movie was supposed to give you. The shyt was supposed to catch them off guard. As they said it was a heist movie. Hence why certain things played out the way they did. Everyone meeting up just wouldnt have made sense in the context of the movie without deus ex and I dont think all those interactions would have fit well in the middle of the movie.

Man i finally realized that the russos are setting up hulk to be the hero in the next film cause he took the biggest and most shocking L. The gauntlet in the MCU is a weapon that is fitted for thanos so when spidey and them were trying to pull it off who the fukk was gon wear it,star lord??

Hulk is the only one big enough in this universe to wear the glove and strong enough not to be melted by the power and since the russo’s said he has a 3 movie story arc starting since ragnarok its the perfect conclusion for him to become that hybrid hulk and save the universe

Are they ever planning on giving Hulk a solo movie ever again? Doesn't seem like it.

This makes the most sense and that's why they been throwing out fake news talking about Captain Marvel gonna be the strongest hero :duck: Hulk probably gonna be the one to fix the universe

I think it's doubtful, and it's not because of that old reasoning that it would be too expensive. Planet Hulk and World War Hulk are pretty much the two stories you could expect even the casual fans to have some knowledge of and I don't see how you can possibly do either of those now since Planet Hulk was essentially given to Thor. They could build on a romance between him and Black Widow, kill her off and somehow have him blame the Avengers (there is no Illuminati in the MCU right now) for it, and do World War Hulk. I honestly don't see what's left to do with the character. I'm sure he'll get some shine in A4, but we're past the point of either Banner or Hulk being able to convincingly carry a movie, imo. Banner's been intellectually neutered and Hulk has shown since the first Avengers, that outside of being manipulated by an outside source, he can control himself. nikka was pouting in Ragnarok because Thor hurt his feelings:lolbron:

They were caught off guard but ego/stupidity is what ended up costing them. You have Tony refusing to call Cap which was dumb, and Quil couldn't keep his anger in check which did them in.

Don't they have to go to Universal for approval?

He was doing a lot of the lead research in the avengers and helped design ultron, as well as set up making he vision in AOU. In what way have they handicapped his intellect?

Nah i think the deal they made with universal was premature in not knowing the monster profits and mega franchise they were building towards.
They have to front the costs and all other financial responsibility while universal just gets a check when profits role in.Its basically something like having a licensing deal With something u already own but only if its titled “The incredible hulk” or something.

Some legal hoola hoops so he can be featured heavily without them giving them up royalties. If ragnarok was called “thor and hulk smash bros” then disney would have to cut the check

That was the last time he's been shown to be the top 5 genius in the world he's supposed to be. Dude was comic relief in his last two appearances. Shuri sonned him intellectually in Infinty War, breh:russ:. Shuri in one movie was able to flex her brain power(while being hilarious) more than Banner has since Avengers. Tony Stark invented a new element in one of his movies:damn:Banner has been the equivalent of the scientist that's always dropping his papers that no one takes seriously:heh:His highlight the last two movies was doing a faceplant on the Bifrost, my dude:deadmanny:

The sad part is we never really got a proper origin movie for Hulk, and that is also one of his more interesting stories. He always Hulk in the MCU, and the Hulk movie from like 2003 is complete trash.
