Her movie was pretty average, didn't establish her as the face of the mcu to succeed iron man

Marvel now has everyone of their characters and a pretty solid relationship with Sony.

They don’t even need her to be the face of the MCU anymore.

I’m pretty sure if or when that was said, it was said in the early versions of the MCU plans before there was even knowledge of the sale.

I think people are gonna be disappointed with the body count in this one and hopefully that doesn’t take away from the movie

Same. I think outside of the final battle, the CGI may be toned down from the last movie. The "all out war" part seems to be finished after they practically destroyed Thanos' main army in the first movie. Right now its mainly revolving around the duel with Thanos.

I wonder if they're going to make the mass majority of the movie about coming up with a plan and resolving character storylines/interactions. Then the last 30 minutes or so just go crazy with the Thanos fight scene.

I mean, I guess we'll see. I just don't think it's so much about an "invasion"/all out war this movie like it was the last.
