Cisco is such a fun character. I'm surprised he hasn't been gotten much press or deemed a breakout character like Felicity (who is vastly overrated in my opinion). I guess its easier to embrace a white female than a hispanic male.

A Batman show while the Batman movies are out at the same time will be overkill. Hell I'm still in Batman fatigue since the Dark Knight trilogy ended.

The development for Arrow was announced not too long after Smallville ended though, and many people thought it was going to be a spin off with Justin Hartley. They didn't originally have a DC universe/Flash show planned at the time.

Yep, this was the case. When the CW announced that "Arrow" wasn't gonna be a spin-off of "Smallville", I decided I was gonna ignore the show. But there was so much hype the week the series premiere aired, I gave in & watched it.
