Yeah.... Kizaru out here panting and gotta take a breather from a few shots from Luffy. :hhh::russ:

Once he figures out the five elders trick its curtains for this arc. G5 is too busted and once he learns to master it it will be over.

I'm just tired of people complaining. Wah wah, this arc too long. How so? Compared to Wano? This isn't that long and it's almost over.
The funny thing is that there were people complaining during Wano that it was being rushed and that they didn't go into Zoro's backstory. He can't win regardless lol

Naw, this is going to end in a sacrifice (probably Kizaru) when hearing the message) and escape. I know I been talking a bit of disappointment with the series lately but if Luffy solo’s all 5 of those people this arc folks will really start shytting on this story.

No way in hell you show that Elder with the sword that looks to be the Shodai Kitetsu and you have Luffy squash him.

Great reddit comment.

I feel like Luffy is about to get done in and rescued like on Thriller Bark, Sabaody or maybe even Marineford. It would set up the stakes for the final saga. Oda definitely has ample precedent of ending an arc with our heroes in dire straits. Given it's the final saga coming up, and Luffy is going to face all the Gorosei at once, it seems like all the pieces are in place for this.

If Luffy actually 1v5s here, then there's less tension about how he will fare in the final arc. Knowing Joy Boy is vulnerable and not an unbeatable Gary Stu means Luffy still has room to grow and gives us more to look forward to. Establishing the Gorosei as a credible threat will really hype up the final confrontations.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the Gorosei are truly immortal to the point Luffy cannot significantly harm them, and we'll find out the One Piece is the key to defeating them

:yeshrug: but Luffy aint fighting 5 elders solo
Who would come help him?

Shanks would be predictable since he showed up last arc. Kidd is MIA. Law is MIA. Blackbeard pirates got what they wanted and left. Rayleigh already showed up and saved the day for Hancock. Revs are the only answer and we saw them last chapter and they're not traveling. Dragon is potentially the only answer. That, the Giants, the robot Oda is leaving as Chechov's Gun, or potentially the Grand Fleet.
