Luffy has future sight (and way better haki in general) and isn't going to get caught offguard the way Kid did.

I get that the chapter is hype for Shanks but Luffy is not getting oneshotted after almost 1100 chapters. This manga isn't going to go on forever, there's not going to be another timeskip for him to train or something.

I never said Luffy was getting oneshotted, you made that up on your own breh. I am saying that it's going to be over more quickly than most seem to think. That's based on Oda's own material: Shanks has been an unreachable tier at every turn from making other Yonko lean back, shaking Admirals, getting face time with the Elders, and now effortlessly crushing a man that just helped beat another Yonko. There's literally nothing that would say he wouldn't dust Luffy at this point besides the fact he's the MC. A MC that routinely gets his ass whipped in the first encounter.

It's a simple, fair assessment.

Yea I don't think that long awaited reunion between him and Luffy is gonna be all sunshine and smiles at all. Like there ain't gonna be any cute buddy buddy teamups against the Marines or Blackbeard like the Strawhats have done with all the other worst generation guys (and now even people they're supposed to hate like Lucci and CP0) since the timeskip; it's probably on sight between Yonko regardless of any history between them going forward.

Also, how many goons are MIA at the bottom of the ocean after getting smoked at this point: Big Mom, Kaido, potentially Law and his entire crew, Sabo... now all of the Kid pirates too? Could make a whole Rocks Pirates 2.0 if they teamed up on their salty runback shyt

Yeah I think law gonna save killer since he has a sub. I think there is more to shanks that is gonna be even more crazy

When introduced, Kidd had the reputation of taking out innocent people. I see why shanks went all out and crushed him. Too bad he didn't lose his other arm.

When you think about all the pirates that luffy been teaming up with are Law came up by taking the hearts of 100 pirates and sending them to Marine Headquarters and than there Bartolomeo who declared war against the Red Hair Pirates and is now raiding and plundering in Shanks territory after dealing with kid I wonder if Bart is going to be the next one that Sharks leaves

If you go back to when Kid was first introduced, the reason his bounty was a little higher than Luffy's was because he was known for that type of behavior.

York's plan was stupid. If she realized the government was trying to kill her too she could have just had the Seraphim act normal and protect them while she and the other Vegapunks left with the Straw Hats. There was no reason to reveal herself as the traitor at that point.
